I chose the brown with black mane because my dog's coat has many brown tones. It matches perfectly! The mane is made of a good quality faux fur. Needed some fluffing to look more "natural", but that was easy enough to accomplish. We put the mane on our dog for several short sessions before we tried a long one. By the time we took him trick or treating he didn't mind wearing it at all. It doesn't have a hole for the leash to go through, so we had him wear a harness and it worked great. We have a 73lb pit mix, and it was plenty big enough to go over his head. Might be too big on a small dog. There's a sinch cord to keep it from falling off. The elastic sinch cord worked fine until he tried to shake it off, and then it moved around a bit. Needed adjusting a few times but that's also easy to do. Overall very happy with it and would recommend to friends. I included a picture from behind so you can see how well it blends with the fur.

I got the Large White Lion Mane for my Dog Levi (Medium Size White Pitbull Terrier). It fits him well and looks super cute. 👌 The texture is pretty soft so it doesn't bother him. And when when his ears get hot I can tuck the Lion ears underneath and it still looks good on him.

The hair feels like the usual Halloween costume hair - a bit like straw, which is fine, but means it can get clumped together and isn't very soft. It definitely looks better in the pictures than in real life, but it looks good enough and pretty cute. There are drawstrings to try to tighten it a bit to stay on which seem like a nice idea, but seems iffy to use because it feels like I'm going to choke the dog if I tighten it too much. And of course if you don't tighten it much, the dog slips out of it pretty easily. It also rotates easily so the ears are a bit wonky. I think if you combine this with some sort of strap that goes around their arms to help keep it on, that'd be best.

My dog didn’t like it and he did not keep it on. It was soft and cute. Okay quality, but nothing to write home about. It was adorable on tho and made me laugh because my dog’s name is Simba. It did slip off his head easily tho.

TOO CUTE! Our yellow lab looks absolutely adorable in this adjustable costume. Worth every cent.

It looked great in the advertisement but not so much when I put it in my dog. I actually ordered 3 ( my bad ) thinking one may look better than the other. None of them looked good at all and I just tossed them into the trash. Maybe my dogs fur wasn’t compatible with this product.
