Little Miss Jocelyn: Series 2 [DVD]

Released in 2007/8 this was a tv show that was a firm favourite! Sadly times have moved on so possibly not appropriate for 2024 sentimentalities, however I nevertheless give it a 5 star as Jocelyn’s sense of humour, skill and talent are off the chart! It was simply a treat uncovered and glad to own my copy now!

This was given to me as a great birthday present...and I have to say...it was BRILLIANT!!!All the episodes leave your jaw aching for days after and the extras, like behind the scenes and unseen footage, are just as HILARIOUS as the sketches in all of the the 7 episodes!Although some sketches are, well, OTT...This still is one of the best presents I've had in ages!!!5 STARS!

This dvd is FANTASICIt is SO much funnier than series one. If you love Catherine Tate/Little Britain you NEED this dvd, it seems like forever in coming to...HOWEVER, it has been BADLY edited. 2 Jamacian ladies who love a good knees at up at funeral (usually one they arent invited to) have VANISHED. A few scenes with guest stars have gone, and a couple of other scenes seem to have gone to... WHY IS THIS????However, i remember all my favourite scenes (The nigerian taxi driver, The voodoo nurse and south african who has trouble getting/looking for her maid) are all there. And maybe most people won't notice... but i did (it took a while to put my finger on it though!!)Over all i would give this DVD 11 out of 5 but because of the missing scenes it loses marks. and i can only give out of 5, but i'll still give it 4.FANTASTICFingers crossed for a Xmas special, on which they can put the missing scenes!

Took 2 weeks to get to USA, yet my other DVD I ordered at the same time as this one arrived less than a week (6days). The British may say this was the worst, but actually it's better than Little Britain, Catherine Tate, and Mr. Bean. Some people don't know great talents, or maybe they hate on certain comedians what a shame.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Little Miss Jocelyn, but I Swear down it's been changed so much 'cause if you remember in Series 2 on BBC1 in Janurary you would remeber the two old Jamacian ladies who always would go to some random person's funeral and started singing "Who Let The Dogs Out?" they haven't been seen in series 2 though out the DVD, and Boyfriend Ric & Girlfriend Nic haven't done their karoke bit they did in one eppisode, Fiona hasen't done the girl's work experience that she was ment to do in eppisode three, some of eppisode one's been seen in eppisode 5 or 6 and it always lacks. Bring back Series 2 from BBC1 Not an editted verison :(
