It's a Kershaw. Nuff said
Dangerously sharp out of the box. Spring assist works as it should. Nice little EDC for my daughter. Small enough she can clip to her pocket without it being noticeable.

Great little knife
Our son has been wanting a pocket knife like his dad for some time. We bought him this for Christmas as his starter knife. Kershaw is a favorite in our home. It’s a great little starter knife. We don’t just let our son have it, it does sit in our room until he asks to use it. Fits in his hand great, and is a great teaching knife. He’s excited to use it while camping and fishing.

Almost perfect.
I love this knife. Its small size is perfect to throw in any pocket and isn’t cumbersome. Perfect for 99% of daily tasks. If you have bigger hands it may be a little difficult to open. I cut some grooves on the handle where my pinkie goes to aid in grip. Thats the only thing I would change is a little grip.

Handy, useful EDC for us common folk
In most everyday type situations, folks don't need a 3+ inch blade. We're cutting open boxes, bales of hay, food packages, and loose ends of zip ties. That's exactly what the Kershaw Rate is--a "meat and potatoes" no frills, functional knife. The blade is razor sharp and a useful shape. You can use the point for finer, detailed cutting, or use the entire edge to cut rope. Sure it's budget steel, but it's also a budget price. It opens smoothly--just be careful that you don't cut the meat of your hand below your thumb as the blade flicks out. The assisted opening works very well, and the frame lock is likewise very effective. The super smooth frame could use a smidge of texture to aid in gripping it while opening and using it. Minus one star for the lack of texture. Otherwise a solid knife for the $35 I paid.

Nice size
Great knife but after 6 months of use the screws fell out of the handle section…☹️ Guess we will see how good their warranty department is.

A solid little chunk.
This little folder is modestly discreet and irresistibly flickable. It’s value is in its utility. It does almost everything well, barring food prep, as it’s a little blade. It’s invisible in the pocket, sharpens and hones well, andis extraordinarily stealthy. It’s really a mini Pilar, with its thicker stock and utility knife length. The action is crisp and the detent has authority. I’m a fan of smaller blades.

Small, compact, and solid
High quality knife. I’ve never had any problems with any of their knives before. This one is a little pricey for what you get, but I knew that when I was buying it.

pratical
a very pratical knife size wise and blade length and shape for daily tasks. mine wore out fast and blade became very uncentered to the point it wouldnt open and lock up. after repeated attempts at adjusting it i gave up and added it to my shoebox of unused knives. overall its a good quality knife for the money spent
