I bought this journal for sketchbook and light watercolor for a nature journal. I really like the feel of the cover and the size. Perfect to take on nature walks and enter sketches and thoughts. The paper is light weight but was not advertized as a watercolor journal. It will take some light washes with a watercolor brush pens to add a bit of color to your sketch. I have another journal that is for watercolor that will take wetter washes. The paper is a nice light cream color that will not reflect harshly to your eyes on a sunny day. I am very happy with my purchase and would get another to give as a gift to a friend.

I've ordered journals from this company before and got just what I expected: A quality product. The color wasn't what I thought I'd get, but that's probably due to the fact that my computer's monitor colors are off and I can't figure out how to adjust them. The snap on the strap is tight--almost too difficult to unfasten and refasten--but that's good as that means the journal isn't going to pop open in a bag or backpack.There is a nameplate/personal information page under the flyleaf page, which I liked, though I didn't use all the spaces created for the various pieces of information. This is for personal use, and I did not feel comfortable adding some of that information. Pages are thick enough that my fine tipped Sharpie Pen's ink doesn't bleed through, and I write in black ink due to poor eyesight.For use, it's a little flexible, as the pages are not numbered. Neither are they perforated, which I really like; some journals I've gotten, even good quality ones, had perforated pages that could be torn out, and as I'd like to keep the pages in this journal, I'm glad they are not perforated. A rather spartan journal, it has in one corner of each page a simple weather "indicator", below which are a line of boxes with the initials of the days of the week (starting on Monday). The opposite corner, on the upper right, of each page has a line for "Memo Number" below which is a space, with slashes preprinted, for the date. Pages are ruled with finely-dotted lines on both sides, and an off-white color that is easy on the eyes. The journal's three bookmarks are firmly attached and didn't come loose when I tugged firmly on each one individually. Pages appear to be bound by stitching, and while they do not always lie flat upon opening the journal to some spots, are still flexible enough to do so when pressed down gently.Overall, I'm as pleased with this product as I was with the one I purchased years ago, and have no current complaints. I've added some photos, including two measuring the journal's thickness against a ruler; they're at best approximations, but both the Inch and the Centimeter measurements should provide a better idea of how thick this particular journal is. The photos may need to be enlarged in order to see the marks on my clear ruler.

Love this! I bought myself 3, a couple blank pages and one lined page. It's pretty, perfect size for purse, and has great features. Diagonal pocket on front to hold a pen or two, clasp that closes easily and can be folded back when using. Also, I love the multiple colored ribbon page markers.

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this journal! The quality exceeded my expectations. The cover is a gorgeous deep rose color, with a soft, smooth texture that feels really nice to hold. The design on the front a tree growing inside a crescent moon with a sun and moon in the background …is beautiful and meaningful, perfect for anyone who loves symbolic, nature inspired art.The stitching is strong and even, and the snap closure keeps everything secure. There’s even an exterior pocket, which is super handy for slipping in notes or small papers. The journal feels durable yet elegant, making it ideal for daily journaling, planning, or even as a thoughtful gift.Highly recommend if you’re looking for something that’s both practical and pretty!

He came in pretty fast. That’s what I like when it showed up and I opened the package. The material of the covering wasn’t what I expected. It’s more close to a cheap wallet . It’s a beautiful item don’t get me wrong, but as I was going through the pages using the three pulltabs that it comes with so you can bookmark sections some of the pages seem to be ready tearing and removing themselves from the spine of the item so that is a very unfortunate. I get the idea in the concept of this is coming from but no way is the front pocket a big enough compartment to hold a cell phone lol the material that is the outside of the book is very much a magnet prune to dust and fingerprints so you would have to be very delicate with this book if you want it to last at least a month. Again beautiful book concept and I like it. The pages wasn’t what I expected either I thought it would be a journal sketch type of thing but. We get what we pay for. Got me fooled if you think this is leather.. more like pleather. But I like the book overall I just wish that it was at least $20 more of a higher quality and now I’m scared to write too much in here because I don’t want to pay to fall out so I’m gonna have to get creative. I’m not gonna wait 28 days to get another book with the whole return feature so. I’m gonna call this my battle book now. You should buy it give them a chance and hopefully the second version is much better and maybe your book will come fully intact.

It's soft leather and the paper is thick enough for drawing purposes and the pocket size is just thick enough for a phone to fit snuggly and the page count of 200 is enough for any tiny drawings that you'd wanna do and as for Gift value it'd be good for people who like to draw along with the color of many different variations that depend on the person.

I ordered the purple one. The cover is so soft and vibrant. It fits perfectly in my purse. I can't wait to start sketching/journaling.
