I needed a light that had a mechanical on/off switch and this fit the bill! I don’t like the other lights that have the timer functions that immediately get out of sync, or need to be reset every time you unplug it. I have two of these lights on a dedicated outlet timer so everything turns on and off at the same time with no delays, and do I don’t have to worry about unplugging them if I need to move things around.

I sent this fixture to a friend who had no plant lights. She sprouted some bulbs and had good success with these lights. Highly recommended!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:One of few lamps I found that did NOT clip onto the shelf. The look and quality are very good and will be most suitable for my intended use on my orchids. I also liked the multiple light levels and the timer option.I gave it 4 stars because it would benefit from including 4 clips/fasteners to affix the cord more closely to the goose necks (so that the wires don’t dangle).

First, I will have to say it’s an amazing grow light. I’ve bought 3 of these already but the last one now has light panels that are very dim and just flickers. I contacted the company and their response was quite fast. Will have a new adapter soon to fix the problem

This is a good quality lamp. It is easy to set up, and unlike some others that I have purchased recently, the base is heavy enough to support the lamp. I like that there is a timer, and I like the spectrum of light that is produced, and my plants seems to like it, too!

I have 220 rare tropicals on 12 plant stands. And the universal problem of how to get light to the top shelf, which is the only shelf where there’s enough room on top for my tall, light requiring anthuriums and alocasia. These desk lamps are perfect. I can place them and exactly where I need them. Get the height just right. Wouldn’t trade a thing.

The base is light weight so it's top heavy with the two lights, tips over easily.Other than that it's fine
