For lifters
Ok this review is aimed at lifters as in proper lifters who use olympic bars and power cages.First off I didn't mind my calluses and I would recommend to anyone who is ok with calluses to lift without gloves/guard.Secondly I would consider myself a novice/intermediate lifter as in shoulder pressing 50kg, deadlifting 125kg for 8 and 10 reps respectively.I use these gloves for shoulder pressing, bench press, dumbell row, pullups, shoulder press. I think they would also be good for secondary exercises like bicep curls and calf raises.I went for these over the padded version as I wanted protection whilst minimising as little as possible the material between my hand and the bar. These gloves will give you this for the above exercises.I do not use these for deadlifts, instead just lifting with my bare hands as I found that the gloves caused my calluses to hurt for any weight over 100kg.The gloves are still very useful - they protect my hands from further damage on all of the other exercises I mentioned above and I would recommend them for that reason.

Brilliant training gloves, worth the money.
Absolutely love these. They're like little underpants for your hands and they really do grip! These are great for any barbell, cable or TRX work. Mine have been seriously put through their paces. I am training for Tough Mudder and do a combination of power lifting, resistance training and strength conditioning - I've had them a few months now and they still look and feel like they're brand new. And yes, I am a girl but I lift and squat heavy. They're by far the best training gloves I've used. One word of warning: if you do lots of kettlebell work then I'd go for the FitFour Anti-Ripper instead - the grip on these is super strong and I actually found it pretty hard to snatch a kettlebell when wearing them! The Anti-Ripper is the exact same design but without the silicone grips.

Absolute Waste of Money and Dangerous to Hands
I bought these gloves after reading the glowing reviews on Amazon. That was a huge mistake. I'm not sure how or for what these reviewers were using these gloves, but they I doubt if their workouts were anything other than very, very light!I workout up to 6 times a week. Of these 3 are heavy duty workouts involving double kettlebell moves, snatches, cleans, squats etc and heavy olympic bar deadlifts. The other 3 involve bar and gymnastic rings work for moves such as muscle ups, planches and all sorts of holds. My hands are therefore pretty well conditioned and I tend to use gloves just to give them a rest. The first time I used the gripper gloves on a kettlebell workout they tore my hands to shreds. Two calluses were ripped open and my palms also cracked open and bled. These gloves DO NOT do what they say on the tin. There is obviously too much friction created by the inner lining, which rather than afford protection actually promotes injury. 1 weeks lost training :(And of course the price is ludicrous when you compare them against other more substantial gloves on offer.I must admit when I saw them I was immediately sceptical, because of the size and price. But the reviews swayed me. In future I shall remember that when it looks and sounds to good to be true, guess what it probably is!!So unlesss you work out really light or just want something for aesthetic effect I would avoid these gloves/mitts at all costs. One positive note. The company gave me a full refund when I returned them no questions asked.

They're good :)
Bought these aa part of a trial at a discounted rate to leave a review. Bought these for the Mrs as she does pole dancing. Says they make a huge difference in grip and have helped her to improve. They look great too, not exactly an eye-sore.Sorry I can't leave a bigger review but they're not for me. Can safely say that she's happy with them though.

Really comfortable and easy to use for lighter weights
Really comfortable and easy to use for lighter weights, dumbells and push exercises. Still trialling whether effective for high weighted pull exercises e.g. deadlifts

Fits Decently
It fits tightly, but could stand to cover just a little more of your hand

Great comfort and durable
Bought them 3 years ago and use them regularly for weight training. Still perfect, no calluses and no sweaty hands.
