PSA: Dorel updated its rules for most of their multi brand of seats- you must max out either by height or weight before moving on from rear facing. This seat included.Use inside outside maneuver to get a tight install. Might need a pool noodle or rolled towel if your seats have a weird incline for rear facing.Honestly, the only things this seat has got going for it, is it's girly design based on the Moxi colorway, lightweight, and 3 across.Low weight limit and will likely outgrow by height.No recline lever. Just 1 foot to flip over based on rear or front facing. Slightly slim better than it's counterparts of safety 1st everfit and the like but have better features on those. So far straps have been obedient- no lop sided issues like on other seats. Easy to change settings.This is great for those that want a lightweight carseat and need 3 across. Great for travel and 3 across being that it's less than 19 inches wide. Plus is the headrest doesn't shake or rattle like crosstown slim safety 1st.This was more than I wanted to pay for a basic, short span seat. However my kiddo loves the design and wants to ride this for school pickup with her grandparents. We decided on this for forward facing as the harness booster from the parent company isn't much better value nor for comfort. This may offer booster use if she doesn't outgrow the limits while front facing with harness. So with that said, if you're still rear facing and want more comfort and convenience, I'd choose others over this. Keep an infant carrier for newborns as this might still be big for them until the later months.Just like the design and ok with no frills- buy this.My kiddo is on the lower percentile so the low weight limit and height won't be a big deal. It's 80 pounds vs the usual 100 pounds the house brands have from the same parent company.Remember you'll buy more than 1 seat for each kid as they will outgrow the limits before the intended lifespan. You'll end up purchasing a harness booster with higher limits to keep from prematurely putting your kid in seat belt mode. Even then you'd still be purchasing a backless booster if your kid is on the taller side and already outgrew all other options early on.Save your money, get a decent seat vs paying premium for something that you won't fully utilize.
