Extremely comfortable
These boots are very well made and sturdy. From the day they arrived I slipped them on and even though I didn’t have hiking socks on they were supremely comfortable. A definite sign of superior shoe design in my opinion is that they don’t need to be worn-in before they become comfortableI am a little worried about the breathable-weave material on the shoe toe, because I wonder if this will be able to keep dirt and sand out while hiking?

A little smaller than the Moab2 version
I bought these as a replacement for my worn out Moab2 version. While the shoe is nearly identical, the fit is a little different. I generally wear the boots with a mid-weight wool sock, but I had to switch to a thinner compression sock for this Moab3 version. The difference is not enough for me to send them back, as I have a work around and the next size up would probably be too big.

Hard arch support
The shoe liner has a hard plastic arch support built in. I have somewhat flat feet and this liner is painful to me. The shoe is great otherwise replacing a pair I have been wearing for over 20 years. So what I did is get an insole from Dr. Scholls for pain relief. Now they are very comfortable.

Feel like tennis shoes, work like hiking boots. Breathable and comfortable!
I had a pair of Oboz which I loved (they were much more expensive than these). They were waterproof and often my feet would feel damp after an hour or so because the boots didn’t breathe. I thought that was likely an unavoidable consequence of waterproof hiking boots. Then I bought these and they are waterproof but ALSO breathable. Not sure how they did it but I wish I had known about these years ago. They are comfortable, they don’t make my feet sweat or feel damp, and they are cute. In my opinion they are much better than my Oboz which cost a lot more money. There was no break in period. These were comfortable to wear all day long straight out of the box. They have great traction (important because I live in a climate that is very cold and icy most of the year). These are my favorite shoes now. They feel like tennis shoes, very lightweight, but work like hiking boots. And the best part is they don’t leave my feet damp because they are somehow waterproof AND breathable. Plus they are relatively cheap for a good pair of hiking shoes. Definitely recommend these.

Love these!
These are the most comf boots I have ever worn! I have had plantar fasciitis for years and have worn custom orthotics with all my boots. I do not need the orthotics to wear these!

Nice looking hiker, , but ran a whole size too small
Love the look and color. I have an 5 yr old pair of Merrell Moabs that fit my flat wide feet perfectly. Got the same size in these, and they were too short, so i returned them. I got the next size up, and although it was the right size in length, the arch hit in an uncomfortable place, so it didn’t work for me. My feet are kind of tricky to fit, so these might work for someone else. Gave 4 stars cuz of apparent quality and appealing style.

Quality and comfort
This is my 2nd pair. Love the quality and super comfortable to wear for 6+hrs. Toe box is marginally bigger which is perfect for long hikes when your feet swell. True to size fit.

Comfortable and sturdy
Love these boots. They have a stiff sole, sturdy grip and are super comfy inside. But buyer beware, these ones are NOT waterproof. I have worn these hikers a lot but always in dry conditions. They are so good that I have bought another pair, but this time I bought waterproof ones for the rainy season.

Grand Canyon Worthy
I have been breaking these in to hike the Grand Canyon on my once in a lifetime. They will be amazing!!!!! No break in required but better safe that full of blisters.
