Probably the best all round balanced buskers amp you'll ever need but...
Nice size of amp for carrying around town lightweight your not going to do your back in with this. You can stand it up though I like to lay it down so I don't knock it over or anyone else does. The controls face the right way towards the performer while the speakers face out. Because of the separate speakers you don't get as much feedback as you do with most of these type of combined PA/Guitar amps and there is also a cut out control which helps too. Also you don't get vocal cut out as you do with single speakers again because of the separate speakers this avoid it and that's what you need when performing live you don't want your performance degraded by that. With my last two amps I was always getting told my vocals where not loud enough but with this you are in full control of the mix once its set its set and you wont have to keep adjusting things just turn up the master volume for the event that your playing at and turn it down for practice. Its quite solidly made body wise so it looks good for the road and you can buy a cover for it for gigging and keeping the dust out at home and extra compartments for cables and odds and sods. FX are not great but never are when they are built in better with a seperate FX unit always and keeping everything dry amp wise and use an FX rack. This is better for when you ever upgrade too you don't have to learn all the settings again. There is a nice carry handle that's designed into the case so no wear and tear to worry about with constant use and a pole hole at the bottom if you want to raise it up on a pole.So why 3 stars? Well its a big let down by the batteries you can't charge them in the amp itself instead you have to buy a separate charging unit which is ridiculous this could have have been easily built into the amp as these days most are now. The Batteries only last a couple of hours Also the battery types are hard to get hold of I had to order on line because no where in my local town had them in stock. Other than that its a decent buy.Update: The blue tooth feature cuts out on a regular basis and is very un reliable, you then have to unplug everything and switch off and start again, this is just not good enough. I have taken off another star because of this.
