Perfect for me. Lifts and styles just as I need

This hair brush is intended to stop static electricity in your hair and it does a pretty good job of that. My hair can get fairly staticky and I notice a marked improvement when using the brush. It is a good brush for removing tangles and smoothing my hair. The brush comes in several colors and I especially like the blue one. Because the brush is all plastic with rubber tips it is easy on fragile, fine hair., but I think it would work equally well with thick, coarse hair. I thought I might prefer brush made with metal for static control, but I find that I like the weight and control of all plastic construction. No complaints so far. Would recommend without reservation.

This is a nice brush (cute colors, too) and seems very well made. If the balls on the bristles stay in place, then it will have been a good buy. Time will tell. However, if you are thinking of buying this because it is advertised as "static-free," you'll be disappointed. I have an old vented brush that I'm replacing with this one, so I did a test. I ran the old brush through one side of my hair and it created static, as I expected it to, because it always has done that on dry hair. Then I ran the new brush through the other side of my hair, and it created exactly as much static (see the photo). Now, for me, this isn't a huge problem (although I'd have loved for it to be non-static) because I mostly use this with wet hair, so static isn't a problem.I'm happy with this purchase, static or not.

This brush is perfect for brushing synthetic wig fibers. The width of the brush along with the coated ends glides seamlessly thru synthetic fibers without pulling or causing tangles.

I love these Cricket brushes, especially the different colors. I have crazy fine, frizzy hair and these help keep it smooth. I don't know how they do it, but the static free claim is for real! Other brushes leave my hair flying all over the place and this one takes the static right out. I've been using these forever and gone through so many of them! They're easy to clean and use. They fit perfectly in my smaller hands.My only complaint is that the little rubber tips on the end of the bristles will come off, they get stuck in my hair dryer. Once enough have come off, I move on to a brand new one. It is not enough of a deterrent to stop using this brush.Highly recommend these magic static free brushes!
