I love that these are biodegradable. They work just as well as the metal ones.

Half of them broke when going in, even using a rubber mallet. And you don't notice it until later when the cardboard starts tenting up. Also, four inches is not long enough to hold anything on top of a lawn. Addendum: I went back over them to see how they were holding. Close to 100% had broken.

These thing by all counts, look like a great product and feel sturdy. I don’t have actual use yet because the ground is simply too hard being frozen to drive these in without likely breaking them. It’s nice to know that I’ll be able to plug these in the ground and they won’t just be here forever and ever like some metal steaks or plastic steaks would be.

If you’re putting in sod, use 6 inch. 4 inch would be for fabric style coverage. Excellent shipment but worthless for sod. You’d think they would highlight that on the listing

They feel sturdy but are pretty useless after a month. heads snap off at soil line.
