Great product
This works great, I’ve used it for years, never fails. Follow the directions about temperatures and use a reliable instant thermometer. I use FairLife full fat milk which is higher in protein and it turns out with Greek yogurt consistency.

Texture and thickness
Didn’t knew anything like this existed but after trying I’ll be getting it again and again. I love the taste thickness and texture but one thing my mother didn’t like is the taste because she has a south Asian taste and I have middle eastern. If you bold into south Asian taste it maybe 50/50 for you. It can go bitter if stored for over a week so be mindful

Fails to produce decent yogurt.
I am new to yogurt making with my new yogurt maker. After at least four tries using this product, all have failed to make yogurt that's much thicker than the whole milk I used, and there's little taste. At first I thought it must be my fault somehow, but I've checked the temperature during fermenting, and it's at exactly 105 degrees. I've tried different time periods, ranging from six hour to 12 hours, and the result is the same. I must have gotten a bad batch.

Has a slight “lemon” flavor to it
This is a good yogurt in that it does the job, however, I am not a fan of the flavor. I normally make my yogurt using Fage plain Greek yogurt as my starter, and it produces a very smooth and natural yogurt flavor. (I do go the full 24 hours to ferment) This one has a slight tangy but way appears to be a “lemony” kind of flavor to it. If that’s your cup of tea then more power to you, but it’s not the flavor I was looking for. I will try their green packaged ones next (probiotic) and see if there’s a difference in flavor. It is convenient to have dried yogurt on hand for longer term storage, so that’s a plus, I’m just not a fan of the flavor.
