I installed this faucet in about one hour, start to finish, including removal of the old Delta faucet, which had mineral deposits all over the base. It works perfectly. I have many Grohe fixtures in my home, am never disappointed in the quality or appearance. The Starlight chrome is just beautiful and easy to keep clean.. The components feel heavy and the quality is outstanding. I don't understand why people complain about difficulty installing, or understanding diagram instructions. Do you not have any DIY skills? Don't you realize the polymer nuts are so you don't over-tighten? The diagram shows how you loop the hoses so they don't kink. You don't need any special tools or plumber's wrench; a crescent wrench is all you need.

Faucet has a nice finish and was really easy to install. I have installed other Grohe faucets over the years and none have disappointed.

I had a plumber for other work and I had him install it. He said it was a good quality Grohe brass faucet and easy to install. My old junker faucet had been there 30+ years, and removing that was definitely a plumber job. This is something to consider if you want to install a faucet yourself.

I would normally leave a minimum 4-star review for this product and update to 5 after a year or so of flawless performance. However, due to the hoses included with this set, I have to start this one at 3. The hoses included for connecting the valves to the spout are very, very low quality, not at all what I would expect from Grohe. The rest of the kit is fantastic, as is usual with this brand, but these hoses were so problematic during the install that I found it nearly impossible to install them without kinking. I was well within the specified range for spread between the valves and the spout so this seems to be a quality issue. I ended up getting hoses at my local department store which were a lot thicker, which wasn't really necessary, but they had zero kinking problems. The included hoses are so low quality that you can not even get the crimp collar on the hose ends to stay fixed while you rotate the hose nut. I assume this is an oversight in the QA department and hope that it will be corrected for future models. Overall I love this set, it looks great and I expect that it will perform just as well as all of the other Grohe fixtures I have in the house.

This is a beautiful faucet and functions perfectly. My only warning is that the provided instructions are only in graphic format without written instructions. For someone more experienced than me I'm sure this is not an issue, but it caused me some problems trying to put together the drain assembly. There is a thin wall pipe that must be unscrewed from the rough casting, and the one packed with my faucet was so tight that it could only be undone using a vise and a pipe wrench. The instructions were not clear on this step and I ended up going to Lowes and spending an extra $20 on another drain assembly. The finished product looks and works great - it was just a bit more complicated install than it should have been.

Low profile, very simple design. Water flow is great. Finish is beautiful. The handles are quite low to the counter, but it's nice looking, and easy to keep clean.

Very well packaged by Grohe and Amazon. The finish is bright, polished and gorgeous. My only complaint is the quality of the drain stopper. It seems a bit chintzy compared to the rest of the faucet's quality. Overall I'm very pleased with the design and for the most part the quality, especially for the price.
