Yes they would be fine on an SPD-SL compatible shoe, the cleat uses the same 3 bolt fitting.

Is Black all black? The picture looks a lot like black white. Also, do they clme with cleats?

we have both all black and the black and white in stock and they both come with cleats. Amazon control the picture but this listing is for the black and white version.

Is this 100% a pair of pedals? The whole single option thing is a little confusing.

I see your confusion, but as I have six bikes with look pedals I think it refers to the fact that you get one set of cleats, changing to the red ones allows a bit more play for example
