TUSO Butcher Block Cutting Board [17 x 13 x 1.5 inches ] End Grain Teak Wood Cutting Board - Reversible Multipurpose with Non-Slip Feet, Juice Groover, Sorting Compartments and Built-in Handles

This is one of my favorite cutting boards as it is sturdy and thick. I love the side with 3 pockets as it's very helpful. It's easy to clean and has a natural wood grain color. I do use mineral oil ever so often so keep it looking nice. I knocked off one star for the repeated pattern in a few rows that throws the look of it off, It's still a nice board but could be a little better.

I will start this off by saying I am a woodworker and my expectations in a product might be higher than typical. However, my board has many issues. First, mine had a big crack on the side that carries over to the top. There are numerous visible glue lines on the board. The pattern is ok in some spots and way off in others. Finally, I'm not sure what the board was sprayed with (really shouldn't have been sprayed at all), but there are several areas of drips. I reached out the seller via the email on the enclosed business card, but never heard back. The card also indicated they have a FB page, but it appears that they don't have it running anymore. Overall, look elsewhere for a quality product.Update: The seller contacted me immediately about the defective product and offered to ship a replacement the same day. The replacement board is of a much better quality - it still does have some small defects but nothing like the first board. Star rating increased to 4 due to a better quality replacement and for the seller's immediate attention to the matter.

I actually love this product as a supplement to my much larger and heavier cutting board. I put this one on top and use it for cutting smaller items like fruits and vegetables. I was very skeptical about the “end grain” due to the fact that it tends to cause juices and water from whatever you’re cutting to seap into the wood and cause bacteria or mold but this board seems to be pretty well sealed out of the box (of course you should add additional sealant. End grain supposedly is friendlier on your knife though compared to the grains running across like my longer board. It also has a little notch along the entire outside of the board I guess to trap the juices on the board. I’m not used to this feature, but I guess it’s kind of nice. Easy to lift up and clean also.

We own a few butcher blocks, our favorite is a cherrywood. This one is teak, which is fine, but make sure it is done precisely when you receive it. Walnut and teak are A2 category which means suspected carcinogenic. As long as it is tightly closed, then there should not be any contamination. Overall very nice to use and pleasant to look at!

I am in love with this cutting board. It is two sided. One side for just plain cutting and the other side with lil compartments for prep cooking cutting. Super thick and heavy duty. Has a nice finish that makes it non porous and easy to clean. Again it is thick so will take up some space. Definitely a great addition to the kitchen.

This exquisite example of woodworking has become a daily fixture in our kitchen and dining room. It's gorgeous, and so perfectly designed. You could easily use this as nothing more than a cutting board, but I've been using it more for presentation and as a serving surface. The cut outs on either side of the board make it very easy to carry as a tray, and the non-slip tabs on either side are very good at keeping the board just where you want it. It's just so beautifully put together with exceptional material. I can't recommend it highly enough.

This is a really nice quality butcher block cutting board. I like that it is multi-purpose and the side with the notched in compartments makes it nice to use as a charcuterie board. The opposite side has a groove for juice or crumb collecting when cutting. The built in handles make it easy to move around. It is thick and heavy and nice to look at. It has anti-slip rubber feet on the corners which is thoughtful but I'm not really of fan of them as they are not aesthetically pleasing. Also, I wish the compartment were a bit smoother. They feel a bit rough as if they weren't sanded down completely. The price is a bit on the high side but it is a really good quality cutting board.

This is a very nice thick cutting board. It's double sided, both sides have little rubber feet to make sure the board stays in place. One of the sides has a groove all around to work as a cutting board and catch any leaks. The other side has 3 compartments for serving charcuterie. It's lovely and very well constructed.
