Fun and Functional
While our intent was to take a few fun holiday pictures with the socks, they can do more. They will help your dog keep from slipping on flooring. They will also serve well to cover itchy feet and minimize munching during allergy season. These fit fairly true to size if you follow the chart and measurements for your pet. You should be sure to cut your dog's nails first (Dremel to keep from catching on the socks) or they may not fit well. I like that the height seems appropriate to the size of the dog. The Velcro strap is also a bonus. (even though we didn't put them on for the picture) This will absolutely help the socks stay on and we have used them when the dog is moving about the house in the socks. That said, they are not likely durable enough for a very active dog. We tried playing ball inside in these and after 2 throws, his nails (they are kept trimmed and smoothed) poked right through. These are also NOT durable enough for outdoor wear. They are socks. Your socks aren't meant for that either. The patterns and designs offered are cute and the price is fair. If your fairly calm, indoor dog needs socks, or you want cute picture props, we recommend these.

Best purchase for my chocolate lab.
My dog had a nail surgery a few weeks ago and just wouldn’t leave it alone! We used the leg sleeve and she walks like she has no elbows and tends to slip too much. It also wasn’t allowing it to breathe. So we resorted to these, well we love them! Large chocolate lab. I put them on all her feet and it’s was the first time she was able to not slip in our hallway! A little tip is to stretch the sock up high and then make sure the strap goes up and over their top claw and back around to the button, the Velcro stretches which is great but you can definitely make them too tight so beware. These are a perfect fit for her! I think I got the Large for her. Also it’s easy when avoiding a wound to flip the sock inside out on your hand and then unroll it onto their paw then add the Velcro button. 10/10 would buy these again!

good
Good quality, velcro does its job. The fit is still a little off for our pit mix, but I think that's on me, trying to find the right fit for her. She hates them, but she tolerates them around the house.

It’s dog socks
I used the measurements provided and the socks are on the small side. The necks are very tight and hard to get around his dew claws without catching. Also the socks fit the front feet fine in length but I would have preferred longer socks for the back feet. The material is scratchy but hopefully they soften after washing. Honestly I might just go buy some toddler socks and make my own.

Super efficient!
Our 9 year old dog was starting to isolate himself in the bedroom where it is carpeted to avoid the hardwood floors as much as possible. We've already added runner rugs everywhere we could without completely covering the wood floors throughout the house. I'm not sure if he had a fall while we were away, but he has been exceptionally fearful of walking across the floors these past few weeks. I can understand his hesitations, as he has severe arthritis in his back legs and a bad ACL from an injury years ago when he was homeless that never healed properly. We've tried the paw stickers that would always fall off within 5 minutes or whenever he came in from outside -- never any luck with those no matter what technique I used to put them on. I've been browsing anti-slip socks for dogs for the past week and was pleased to see such raving reviews for these. After having them on for about 5 minutes, he was already much more confident on the wood floors, even trotting across the kitchen at one point. Speaks volumes for a dog that we had to push and slide across the floor just to get him to his food and water bowls and to go outside just yesterday. It's been night and day already. And I love that they come with 6 pairs. They seem to be good quality, nice and grippy. I really like that the velcro strap is removable, especially for washing. I will definitely be getting another set of these in the future to make sure I always have them around.

Cute Christmas socks
These are cute little dog socks and are true to color. These are not waterproof but they help my cavalier to stop slipping around on the wood and tile floors. The S fit him well and don't come off easily. He is a wiggler so it takes a few minutes to get them on him, I had to roll them like panty hose. I did not use the Velcro straps because they just weren't needed for me. Seem like a nice quality pet sock for Christmas time.

Don’t last more than one walk- indoors only
These are easy to get on and seem to stay on better most. However, they come off easily in the grass because the sticky rubber sticks to the blades of grass. So not for the grass, got it. Then halfway through the walk they have a hole in them, halfway through our first walk. Ok… so not for the sidewalk either. So, these would only be good for inside. The search for good dog socks/shoes is still on.

They Work - But They Don't Last Long
Our dog was a basket case trying to walk on our new marble floors. She developed a phobia from day one and it was absolutely pathetic watching her try to get from point A to B anytime she got up to walk. So we bought these socks. I do love them. And our dog loves that she is no longer slipping and sliding all over our new marble floors throughout the house. However, you can't expect these to last long. Wear and tear comes fast . . not just in the fact that holes will wear through the material, but the little rubber dots that provide traction wear down pretty quickly and then the benefit of good traction goes down hill. As far as holes, the dogs nails will eventually go through the material even if you keep their nails trimmed like we do. Then there's the fact that your dog will most likely chew on them like our dog does, which creates tears and holes. In 6 weeks we have gone through 20 socks. Just FYI, our dog weighs 26 kg. The other thing is that the socks twist and turn all the time, so you have to readjust them so that the tread dots are in the proper position. Then you have to take them off and put them back on every time the dog goes outside (or they will for sure ruin fast), which is indeed a pain in the butt. However, the socks do work.
