It does what it's supposed to do, and that's great.

As someone with chronic illnesses, one of which includes orthostatic intolerance (intolerance of standing), this stool is a huge help to me. It makes it so when I cannot stand, I can still prep, cook, and wash dishes.I got this because at maximum length, when I sit in the stool, I am still as tall as I am if I would be standing. Which makes the above tasks at the kitchen counters much easier. Many stools are shorter so it makes things awkward.The stool is light enough I can move it around easily, but sturdy enough that there has not been any issues with slippage or the like. I love the swivel, makes things much easier when I'm cooking. It's comfortable enough that I don't have an issue sitting in it for about an hour at a time.When not in active use, it resides at the breakfast counter where it is also a nice chair to sit and eat. My husband assembled it, but he said it was a breeze.

I couldn’t get the feet protectors on. The back rest is designed to be wobbly, I’d rather it didn’t move. I rarely use it, but at my weight of 124 pounds, I don’t think anyone heavier would do well with this,

So. All the reviews were like “easy to put together.” Easy to put together my ass. Took a hot minute, or twenty. Directions were as helpful as the don't eat things in our shoes. Obvious but not effective. Pictures alone do not cut it, words are needed. You need Bob the builder not Dora the explorer to put it together. Thank you jaba baby Jesus I live with a Bob the builder. Dora would have left it on the map. It’s a good chair though.

These are light weight, yet sturdy, bar stools. I set them up counter height so family members can sit at the kitchen pass through window. The swivel is great for twisting around to watch television.Have tested each with 2 different adults (200#) and a busy 7 year old climbing up.Assembly was pretty simple. The diagram numbers are very tiny (even with bifocals and magnifying glass), but given our experience with Ikea furniture, it was figured out. Had to guess about the swivel piece (bolt up or down?).My two Siamese were pleased with multiple pieces of cardboard packaging. Their assistance added a couple of minutes to assembly time (they took a bolt and were batting it around). Each chair took 17 minutes after removing from package.

Nice looking stools. Easy to assemble, took me approx. 30 minutes to put 2 together. They provide an Allen wrench for assembly but it is pretty weak and strips out after 4 or 5 screws, so you will need to have some at home (maybe I just tighten too much!). Anyway, once assembled they seem pretty sturdy. I weigh 275 lbs and they hold me fairly well. I don't think that the swivel would last long term under that much weight, but I'm not the one who will use them. My wife loves the micro-fiber seat cushions and they do look great. Bottom line, if you are looking for good looking bar stools for kids and average sized adults, these fit the bill and at a great price.

I had been looking for bar stools to fit my 45 inch bar height. I wanted inexpensive bar stools with the swivel feature, modern look and neutral color. It was SO hard to find bar stools that fit everything I wanted. These stools were just the right choice. I love that I can adjust the height of the stool to counter height as well. I put them together myself and they came with everything including the tools to put them together, I didn't need anything extra. Came with no damage or defects and definitely feel like it was money well spent for $50 ea.

For this price you can't find a nicer bar stool. The leg extensions make these work with most any height bar or breakfast nook. In my fully assembled picture I have the leg extensions on and you can see how it accommodates my fairly high 43 inch high counter bar perfectly. These stools do not look inexpensive, they could easily be $125 per stool elsewhere.Easy to put together and all the screws and fasteners are Allen Wrench heads and are very firm and solid when tightened. Everything went together and fit perfectly. The padding on the seats is just right and the swivel action is smooth and quiet. Highly recommended.

Love the chairs but when we decided to raise the height, one of the four chairs had the wrong extender legs. Because they don’t fit I have 3 tall stools and one short one.

We like the product however we ordered 3, but 1 came with no hardware to build it. As we were finishing our Reno we put them together after 30 days since it came quicker than was specified, we weren't ready. Missing hardware= cannot build/use. Disappointed in that. Chairs otherwise excellent, 5 star if hardware was there

Didn’t receive the instruction manual. Also didn’t like the material they used for the seat. The metal also seemed very careful work. Color is good. Quality not that great.
