Over the years, I've owned many rice cookers...none of them were this expensive. The most expensive one was from the famous Japanese rice cooker brand Zojirushi. Just last year, I decided to upgrade that cooker with this model, which is a Korean brand. The Zojirushi still worked fine, I just wanted to try a "high pressure" style cooker. Never owned a Korean branded unit before.Upon opening the box, I was greeted with an extremely elegant and futuristic looking device. This thing definitely lives up to the premium price. If you're a fan of clean industrial design, you will not be disappointed. Not only does it look good, but the build quality is also on par with the aesthetics. As for cooking rice, it is the best I have ever used hands down. The rice came out perfect even when cooking many cups. On cheaper cookers when cooking many cups, the rice on the top comes out dryer than the bottom. Not so with this unit. Rice consistency is maintained from top to bottom. Jasmine rice cooks perfectly and faster too. The touch controls worked wonderfully and the LED displays everything you need to know and more.

Cooks rice very quickly. Cooking time normally is 36 minutes BUT using the fast cook option, rice can be prepared in 16 minutes! Nice when wanting rice for a quick meal. Texture isn't as great as normal cooking time, but it's no less than take out rice quality texture. Something odd - this product does not have a Jasmine Rice or Regular Rice menu option. I usually just use "Less Sticky" Menu option when cooking. I don't mind it personally but the steam release can be loud for some (but there is a countdown before steam is released).

I shopped around and compared many different rice cookers before settling on the Cuchen Ultra High Pressure 10 Cup Rice Cooker. I liked this one because it reaches an 'ultra high pressure' that does seem to cook the rice more quickly, and I love the aesthetic; it is a very beautiful and modern looking appliance!Overall it has been great, it cooks my rice quickly and perfectly every time, and I like that the measurement lines are on the inside of the cooking pot so there's no need to use an extra measurement cup when I'm adding the water. Another nice addition that I have never had in any previous rice cookers are the handles on the pot, so I can easily remove the hot cooking pot from the rice cooker as soon as I open it after cooking!Maybe a little overpriced, but if it's in the budget and you like the aesthetic, I would say go for it! I couldn't find any other cookers with the technology or all of the other features of this cooker, so I went ahead and splurged and I love it!

To be honest, we bought this is get better tasting rice than our basic zojirushi was giving us. And this makes great rice, every grain is perfect. But the speed is what really makes this a worthwhile upgrade. Having fresh rice ready in just 13 minutes pretty much means if there is any protein in the house at all, homemade dinner is faster than any pickup or delivery, and obviously much cheaper. You have to really eat a lot of rice for this to truly "pay for itself"; it's a really expensive rice cooker. It makes brown rice quite quickly too, I'm not certain but I think less than an hour. Which makes it much easier to make that healthy choice. Yes, this just makes rice, which can be had much cheaper, but if you love rice and have earned yourself a treat-yo-self, you will not regret this. Also, great for making rice at altitude; we've used it at 7700 ft and it gives us consistently great rice, whereas without a pressure cooker we had trouble with the moisture level.

I really love this rice cooker, and am happy with the quality of the rice, the features and design. However,that you need to clean the clean cover periordically and replace it every 1-3 years. The instructions say it is easily removed, but may require force. I was curious, so I tried to remove it. I pulled and pulled and couldn't get it off. I contacted Cuchen support and they were no help. I was going to send it back but tried one more time pulling as hard as I could. I finally got it off, so I'm keeping it. For something you are supposed to clean often, it's a real challenge. Hopefully I won't have any additional problems, because their customer support is the pits.

I was going to get the new zojirushi rice cooker, always wanted one, but after looking at the price I thought I could buy a lot of rice for what that square black box with a flame orange back light cost, so I decided to go with Cuchen . This rice cooker is amazing, I have tried all different types of rice and I have to say I actually like brown rice and I didn’t realize how fragrant Basmati rice was it smelled just like buttery pop corn and it cooks the rice fast, I tried the soak and simmer settings they do turn the rice brown. One thing to note if you have stored long grain white rice in your preps you will need to soak it or add extra water to the pot. Finally this rice cooker is top notch,and the beige color is beautiful, since it arrived I have been using it everyday and the warming function works great, very easy to use and rice taste amazing.

I bought it for my mom, she loves it! Very great cooker rice, whatever the rice you cooked, it’s so good!! I recommend 10 000%, no regret, Korean cooker rice is the best if you want to eat the good rice. 🍚 😍 it’s worth it!
