Beauty and the Bees Honeycomb Conditioner Bar
This is a great conditioner bar, but does cost a pretty penny. It smells really nice, but is a gentle smell. My husband really likes it and we would buy again!

I've fallen in love.
This is my first experience with a hair conditioning bar, and it has been a great one. So, although I can't give a comparative review, I can tell you about my experience with this Beauty and the Bees Honeycomb Conditioner Bar. I have long, thinnish, curly hair and I parted my hair into 3 separate parts. I then took the bar and rubbed it from the top to the bottom of each section of my wet hair. After this, I gathered all of my hair and scrunched it to ensure the conditioner was thoroughly applied. I left the conditioner in while I finished my shower. I could tell a difference immediately while I was rinsing. You know how you just know you are going to like or dislike a product after the first use? Well, I knew I was going to love this conditioning bar. And I still do after many uses. My hair is softer, shiner and my curls form better.A couple of notes: Although the bar is solid it's a soft solid. Knowing this I try really hard not to drop or damage the bar because I certainly don't want to waste it...I haven't yet. But because of my extra caution it takes me longer to shower. And that's a bummer. Also, the bar weighs only 1.7oz. Typically, even a travel size bottle of conditioner is over 3 oz. So, I'm anxious to see how long this conditioner lasts at the rate of 2 to 3 washes a week. I do feel like I use so much less of the bar compared to a bottle of conditioner. And I am hoping that is the difference between the sizes/amount.Overall, I am so happy with this conditioning bar and it's hard to find "the" product that works best for your type of hair. But I did. And truthfully, I think this conditioner would work for about any hair type.

Just three swipes works for my fine, almost shoulder-length, oily hair. Cruelty free.
Beauty and the Bees Honeycomb Conditioner Bar4 ½ stars rounded up to 5. The round, very lightly scented honeycomb conditioner bar arrived in a branded orange box. The bar was just loose inside the box, no packaging (zero-waste and plastic free). All ingredients are listed on the box. The 1.7 oz yellowish bar has a cute, simple design on one side and fits right next to my shampoo bar on the soap lifter/saver that helps keep them dry (and not falling through the wide rungs) on our shower caddy. (see photo).I recently converted to a shampoo bar, but this is my first conditioner bar. I have fine hair, but a lot of it. I’m pickier about my conditioners than I am about my shampoos (I have oily hair), so I was a little hesitant on this bar after seeing all the butters, beeswax, honey, and oils listed. The only “icky” ingredient is the “natural fragrance”, as there’s no way to know what exactly those perfuming agents are, and they might be irritating to some. I couldn’t find any further information on them on the company’s website. With just three swipes (less than recommended) of the bar on my almost shoulder-length hair (not my scalp), I could feel the conditioner on my hair, so was worried that my fine hair would be weighed down by all those moisturizing ingredients. However, my hair was easy to comb and once dry my hair was not weighed down at all.I’ve now used this bar for a full week, and I’ve liked the results more each day. My hair has been easy to comb, has felt soft, and has looked healthy with a bit of shine and no heaviness. I’m very happy I took a chance on this bar. Handmade in Australia.

Surprisingly Effective
I have fine hair and just can't use conditioner over my entire head because whatever simple style I try to create disappears in minutes unless it is under 50 degrees outside. So I do my best to use just a little conditioner at the top back of my head where it is hard to untangle.Truly, I wasn't expecting much from a conditioner that looks like a bar of soap. However, as soon as I started smoothing it on I was amazed by how smooth my hair felt. It rinses out fairly easily--I can't leave any of it in my hair. When my hair dried it was soft and silky at the back where I rubbed the rich bar.I think this is a great conditioning product. It is expensive and I can't tell you how long it will last, but I think it should last for a long time. You need to keep it dry so you have to store it so the shower can't get it wet.

Pleasantly surprised!
I've used bar shampoos before, but had never tried a bar conditioner. My hair is just below shoulder length and naturally curly. I don't shampoo my hair very often, but generally will co-wash with conditioner. I wanted to see if this bar would work with my usual routine and it exceeded my expectations. It took a little bit of extra scrubbing to really get enough product on my hair, but once I did that my hair felt very silky and smooth. My curls look better today than they have in weeks, so I think it as a success. The smell is really amazing and I think the only issue I might run in to is figuring out how to store it as the directions stay to keep it dry, so I probably won't be able to keep it in the shower. Overall I highly recommend!

conditions and lathers well for something so small. Can be used for long or short hair.
This is was my first experience using this. I have long, straight hair and was expecting this to be difficult and not later my hair well. I washed the top part of my head first then split my hair in to three event sections to make sure that each area was lathered appropriatly. Rinsing was easy and afterword my hair felt great.I am not sure how many washes this will last as I have only used this a few times so far. However, I have been pleasantly suprised so far that this has conditioned my hair as well as it has for being a bar. I think this would work for any hair type. However, you would probably get more use out of this bar with shorter hair rather than longer hair but I am happy with this product none the less. Would recommend.
