Soniclean Platinum HDX9000 Electric Toothbrush Sonic Technology USB - White

We had been Braun/OralB fans for years, and like the concept of "sonic" cleaning. (Not sure what it means though!) Our Braun bit the dust after years of good service, and replacing it was an "arm and leg" job, so after carefully reading what others had written, we splashed out £24 on this one. Good decision so far, with none of the issues a few others have experienced. What you get is a very robust clean, on the low setting. Haven't tried the faster settings yet - too scary! The massage setting is excellent for gums. One or two things take getting use too. The "on" switch toggles through the settings and this can be a little tricky for changing "in the mouth". If you take it out to change, you get a bathroom covered in toothpaste spots - it's that powerful. The switch is intelligent enough to know when you want "off" or "change setting", which is good. The other thing is it certainty makes your teeth rattle if you accidentally touch one with the brush head - takes practice to acquire a skill I never needed with the Braun. I can honestly say my teeth have never felt so clean after brushing and I like the 30 sec warnings to change sector. Great value at the price.

My oral B 6000 toothbrush died a death and I did not want to fork out 1£100 for a new one. It is disgusting that we are encouraged to recycle but big companies like Braun do not offer a battery replacement for their products but charge a lot of money for their products. I did find a guy in Essex who does it but at £25 not including P&P it was not too expensive then I saw the Soniclean platinum deal on amazon and decide to go for it. I have had a Philips sonic toothbrush years ago but it really hurt my gums. This toothbrush is amazing, I have pockets on the deep back teeth and my dentist told me I need a deep clean. I use this toothbrush in combination with Aloe Dent Miswak toothpaste and Orga wash mouthwash, the combination of the 3 has been a game changer. When I now floss there is hardly any nasty smells coming from the flos or the pick. I will find out for sure when I go for the deep clean if thing have gotten any better. I will update in a month or so. I have noticed that i my teeth have become cleaner, the stains are nearly gone and I have only been using it for 10 days.....I love it.

This arrived super quick and I’m glad I chose this brand. I’d read a sample of the reviews before making my decision to buy and have no regrets whatsoever. What a great toothbrush. It’s not heavy to hold or manoeuvre around the mouth and the number of cleaning options is a real bonus as there are some days when your gums may feel a little tender so you have the choice of using one of the two softer strengths. The different tones are helpful too, I’ve used a sonic toothbrush for years and it’s a good toothbrush but is battery operated and I’d grown tired of replacing the battery so often. The one I was using was ideal for me because it has a small brush head so I did hesitate a little before buying this one. I needn’t have worried as the brush head is not too big and the bristles are not stiff so move easily over the teeth. Replacement brush heads are available from Amazon as well so I ordered two packs and am good for at least a couple of years.

I've always had the branded products but was fed up with the battery not lasting very long. This sonic toothbrush is excellent it has various levels of cleaning from sensitive to white clean to polishing. It is a little different in the feel of the clean ie vibrations but my teeth feel really clean and shinny after the polishing option. The battery seems to be lasting well and the replacement heads are a reasonable price. I would really recommend this brush especially as it is half the price of the branded option.

I bought this to replace a sonicare and am happy with the produce. The attraction was the price and the vibration speed. The 'polish' setting is much faster than a sonicare, so fast it tickles the mouth. However, the head attachment rod is wider and deeper than on a sonicare and thus sonicare heads have to be jammed on. The lock-in, to their heads, is why it loses a star for me.

This is an excellent product. Takes a bit of getting used to resisting the urge to brush instead of letting the brush do it or you. Teeth and mouth feel like you've just come from the dentist. Not sure about the white function as I don't notice any difference, but definitely a super clean. It arrived charged and I've been using it for 4 weeks now on it's original charge and it still doesn't show signs of wanting a recharge. All in all a super brush and I would recommend it fully.

Bought three - one each for my children - they worked for about two months and NO POWER is getting to the brush now - the switch malfunctions - in 2 out of the three brushes I bought ! Expensive item for a two month brushing experience! DO NOT BUY - please find alternative option . I’ve had Philips soniclran for years - I highly recommend NOT buying this product !

This will be the 3rd Sonic toothbrush I have ordered from this manufacturer , the battery lasts months on a charge and the settings are great, you really feel the difference after one clean, my son and father now have these toothbrushes aswell and are very happy with the perfomace
