This is a beautiful lawn ornament but the battery life is terrible it stopped syncing with my Bluetooth after a month and so I’m stuck pushing buttons and can’t program it at all. Terrible light toy

Fantastic orb, my only regret that there aren't smaller versions too! If you made a smaller 3" orb with the same features, I'd buy like 6 of them.The app requirements are a little weird, but I've gotten exactly the effect I've wanted just pushing the buttons. It's intuitive, looks great, and I have no complaints so far.

Beautiful colors but mine came without a plug and cord…. Is that even normal?? All their products provide those.

This glowing light is a delight when you are looking for a different way to set the mood. Whether you use it inside, outside or near the pool, it's a fun light that turns unique colors. We have used it on the dinner table (for a space mission night of chicken nuggets and fries) and also out by the pool. If best if around sunset or later. The globe is water proof so having it next to my pool was really nice as we saw the light reflect off the water.The globe is quite unique and the kids love it. Using the app you can play with it to see it change colors, also you can use the different preferences on the app so it's different colors. On the bottom of the globe base you have three buttons to change the colors manually and shut off the unit. Then further on the side you have a motion sensor to use as well.The handle on the bottom allows you to hang it upside down (which is perfect for a party) and then folds in so you can set it on a table flat. While the light might not be enough to read, it's perfect to set the mood and enjoy your time. I was super surprised at how much every in the family loved the different colors and patterns. We charge it during the day with the USB cord and have enjoyed it daily since it arrived. It's a fun item that really is perfect for any party or during a relaxing night at home.

I want to love this light! Unfortunately it kind of fades in the background. It’s not very bright and it’s not nearly as customizable as it’s cousin the star light/cloud projector. I have had difficulty getting it charged up and responding to turning on/off/pairing. I bought a few of these and all but one dies very quickly and is unresponsive 98% of the time.

I am as noted above conflicted about this light. I think with some tweaks it could have been so much better. There is no setup or assembly, other than plugging it into a USB outlet to charge. What it does, it does well enough, but I don't think it does enough. If I was doing a seance or working as a soothsayer in some carnival this would be a very good product, as it just has that vibe. But I'm not doing any of that, and don't have current plans to get into any of those businesses. The light glows, and can change colors, but it isn't very bright and doesn't have much dispersion-that is, only the area around the ball is lit up. Even then, unfortunately the effect is not particularly vivid or striking. I have had it in water and it is nice enough, but that's it-on a positive note the device does work even after that immersion.To get the full use of this light you need the app, which is gotten from Blisshome and not Blisslights-don't ask me why. As has been noted the app requires way too much information, especially for a mere light. In a time when everyone is rightfully concerned about personal data and privacy I truthfully find it ridiculous to have to provide so much information just to have a product like this fully function. Perhaps I am too suspicious, but getting a light to work in exchange for my private information is a bridge way too far for me to cross.As constituted, this is at best a mediocre light, which I am not sure would be improved all that much even with the app. Given what I stated above it appears I will never know for sure, an uncertainty I lay squarely at the feet of the manufacturer.

This is my second BlissLight product and I couldn't be happier. This orb is absolutely stunning, and I catch myself staring at it all the time. The colors are bright and vibrant inside the swirl giving it a very unique look. There is an app that goes with the orb and give you tons of options in creating your own color pattern. These orb lights are a one-of-a-kind experience that you will absolutely love, and I can't recommend enough.

The timer/scheduler works one night and then not again. Nothing special every setting looks like the same one.

The media could not be loaded.  We got this Orb light thinking it would be placed in some corner to add a little ambient light to the living room… but it quickly became a centerpiece, it’s that beautiful. The fact that it has a rechargeable battery allows us to also easily take it to the rec room and even the back patio.Not only does it produce beautiful and vibrant colors (see pic for a sample of how various colors look), but the motion is truly mesmerizing! It’s like staring into the fireplace… only with more colors.Something to note....the operating instructions are physically printed on the box. There is no instruction booklet inside. The Orb was pretty much plug-and-play, and the instructions on the box were easy enough to understand. The Orb can be used with or without the app since most of the controls are conveniently located on the base of the orb, but I would highly suggest using the app… it takes it to a new level being able to fully control the orb from the overall LED color, the swirling vortex, and even the speed. There’s also a mode to have it automatically turn on when it gets dark and you can control the light sensitivity, plus there is even a timer function. The app is great, it’s very user-friendly and easy to navigate through all the settings/controls (see video). You can also set up different presets for different uses/locations. Another great feature with the app is if you have multiple orbs… you can sync the lights!To take the app one step further, we have it linked to our Google Home so we can have further control over when it goes on and off since there doesn’t seem to be any setting for the orb to turn off automatically via the app. The only weird thing about adding it to your smart home is that the orb comes in as 5 separate “devices”, and each of the devices controls one aspect of the orb… but if you’re familiar with using Google Home (can’t comment on Alexa or Apple Homekit), you can put all the devices into one room to control them all at once.The design is clean and modern and allows for it to be hung as well, plus it can even float to add beautiful ambient illumination in a fountain or pool, which is great for entertaining or backyard parties.The only thing to note is that the charging cable has to be plugged into a USB charging block/slot that doesn’t exceed 2A for the battery to charge. It doesn’t mention this anywhere on the product page or the box manual, but it’s indicated on the orb’s charging port (see pic).Overall, I found nothing negative about this product, except maybe having the battery last a little longer. Highly recommend. Mesmerizing

BlissLights makes several nice-looking galaxy projectors, and this is basically one of their galaxy lights in a waterproof plastic sphere. We did not open the pool this year, it’s been a cool summer, so I can’t speak to the floating around bit. Also, as there’s way too much stuff on my phone, no review of the app either. However, the unboxing experience was a bit dramatic.There is no manual in the box, it’s online, so I plugged the light into a charger and went to download the manual. The manual states, “The H2Orb is designed to be used with a power adapter that is 4.65 - 5.2V max. DO NOT plug into a higher-powered adapter, such as a laptop charger or a fast-charging phone port. This may damage the unit and void the warranty.” Well, so much for the warranty. Perhaps this information should on the product, like on a sticker over the charging port. Most of my chargers are the newer, auto switching, fast charge type. The globe still works though, and I found an old block charger for it in a drawer.Once charged up, I gave it a test run. It does what it is supposed to do, and looks like it’s supposed to look. The buttons are for brightness/standby, projection, and colour. Not really sure what the projection button does, maybe the charger messed that one up, but colour and brightness/standby work as expected.I went to put it away for next year’s pool season, but the manual states, “Do not ship the unit in stand-by mode or with a charged battery, as this could result in fire or explosion. Discharge the battery and power off the unit (long press buttons 1 and 2) before shipping.” Here’s a question, if you discharge the battery completely, how do you “power off the unit?” I just turned it off with the long two-button press and put it back in the box for next year's pool season.I just noticed something else the manual says, “Do not submerge the unit or leave in water for extended periods of time.” We have kids, so maybe best to use it as a bedroom light instead. Okay, I admit it, I might have spent way too much time staring at this glowing orb. And why not? The swirling colors and illusion of depth had me hypnotized. It's like having a vortex of glowing gases right on my coffee table. Who needs a TV?Setting up was a breeze, thanks to the instructions printed right on the box flap. No fussing with apps or manuals, although, a little secret? I wish they'd put the app QR code on the bottom of the orb. It'd make ditching the box easier. It might not last all night, and I'll have to remember what those button presses do, but hey, it's worth it for the joy it brings.So, if you're like me and love a bit of enchantment, grab this glowing orb.
