This was great. Used it the last week of December on a trip. It did NOT leave my fine hair greasy. I was only in the sun for a few days, and I wore a hat. So I can’t speak to what my colored hair may look like in the summer. Usually my color turns very brassy in the sun. So far, I’m impressed.

PROS: Doesnt build up, get sticky, or *leave white cast. No assaulting fragrance. CONS: no evidence of its existence after it dries....should be a pro right? not really. CONCLUSION: UV protection for scalp/hair is a fantastic concept and seriously necessary. But Im left with more Q's than A's As someone with dark strong hair and doesnt get scalp burn, how do i really know its doing anything for my strands? Furthermore, how much do I even use to achieve such protection? Also, mineral sunscreens are notorious for white cast....this has no white cast....nor anything resembling a white cast Personally, i feel i waisted money. This could just be fancy water and id have no way of knowing. And after the EPA sunscreen study, im even more skeptical. Ill give them 4 ★ because I have nothing concrete to penalize them over except for maybe the lack of information on the bottle. But i think this is nonsense. WARNING- always keep zinc oxide away from dogs!!

I live near Denver, where the sun is unrelenting. I'm very fair, I burn in minutes unless I take care, but I hate wearing a hat. So, I researched many SPF scalp and hair sprays, and eventually settled on this one. I haven't been disappointed. I spray my part line liberally, and after it dries (in minutes) there's no greasy or stiff film on my hair, no white residue either. I have dark brown hair, so any white residue would be very visible. The first time I went out I monitored things closely. My part line will burn (painfully) in 20 minutes, but 45 minutes went by and I was thrilled to be burn free. I haven't tried the product in a swimming pool, and I know I'd still wear a hat on a 3 hour hike, but I'm very confident using this product in my daily activities. I also felt that the bottle will last a long time, so there's value for money there.

I wish I could give this 10 stars. I have blue and black dyed hair that I spend a lot of time and money taking care of. I bought this for a cruise I was going on. Ok. It worked like magic. Went in the ocean, my colors did not run! It sprays on super nicely. Some mentioned it leaves hair feeling oily, I didn’t experience that. It was fantastic.

I was really hoping to love this sunscreen. Regular sunscreen makes my very blond daughter get itchy and dandruffy. While this was an improvement from regular sunscreen it was still quite greasy. I was disappointed with how little is in the container for the price, but was happy with the quality and spray of the container itself.

I really like this product, but the AEROSOL SPRAY tends to be a faulty distribution system. I bought 2 & was unable to use the first after the aerosol delivery stopped working leaving me with half the can unusable & another that MIGHT give me another half or so. Lesson learned. I will order again, but ONLY with the PUMP SPRAY DELIVERY.

Great for anyone with grey hair on the scalp that leaves the skin more exposed to UV rays. It feels cool and is unscented. It goes on pretty white, so keep that in mind. No complaints.
