Issey Miyake L'eau D'Issey Pour Homme, EDT Spray for Men, 4.2 Ounce

I've gone through a 4.2 oz bottle and thought it was great. As I've crossed 50 I've moved away from some of the younger stuff that I have unless I'm hanging at home and need some nostalgia. The house favorite is Dior but I never hear complaints about some old school, noticeable cologne that triggers memories, even if nobody can say for certain what it is. That said, as established as this L'Eau D'Issey is, this doesn't come off as dated or overly worn out. Its citrusy, woodsy, musky, aquatic light scent is complex but settles quickly. Sillage is good if not great. Longevity varies for me. 6 hours or so is typical.

I remember when this stuff dropped in the 90s and I was blown away. I still remember the place and setting of the first time I smelled it on my friend. Everyone was like wtf are you wearing, it's incredible. Well all these years later and it still holds up. I remember it projecting a bit more, but that could just be my faulty memory. It's floral but not too feminine. It is clean and fresh and unique. Plus it's pretty cheap. This is a must have in any collection. I've yet to find a woman who doesn't like this one on me
