I needed this jar for soaking my Markus Rothkranz sea moss, and it works perfectly! The 1-gallon size is excellent, the wide mouth makes it easy to use, and the black plastic lid seals well. The glass is sturdy and high quality, and I really appreciate that it’s BPA-free and made in the USA. Delivery was very fast too—overall, a great product that I’m very happy with!

For $11 this is a very sturdy, high quality, easy to clean jar. It has thick glass and I use it to ferment kombucha. The lid is plastic with a seal that fits into it, like a plastic rubber, which I believe you can also buy replacement seals if you need to. It's versatile, you can use it to ferment and carry liquids or something that you don't want to get wet or exposed since it's airtight. In all, it put on a good performance well and it's affordable so I would recommend.

After searching all over for a single gallon jar with this type of lid, I finally found it! All I'd been able to find previously were not food grade, and did not have a nice sealable lid like this. I will be making infused tequila, so I need a lid that closes well, as i will be turning the jar over daily. I am very happy with this purchase!

Strong glass and good value, but the plastic cap feels flimsy.

Bought 2 of these jars for storing fresh eggs and they are great. They are a perfect size, each fitting 36 med-lg eggs. Definitely will be purchasing more.
