My first briar as a newish pipe smoker, so I’m not an expert, but this smokes beautifully. Dry, if not always the coolest smoke, but that’s partly on me keeping a higher tempo than most.I’ve followed the usual path of starting with a decent cob, which will now be devoted to Balkan, VaPer, and other non aromatic blends, especially anything heavy on periques, latakias, and orientals. This? This will be my indoor and aromatics pipe. I’ve broken it in over the past 36 hours with some absolutely delightful Stokkebye’s No. 24 Nougat.

The pipe I received seemed to have sand pits in it and would go out when it was only half-full. I ended up returning it and bought another Peterson instead, which my husband absolutely loves. I believe the quality of this particular one may have just slipped past the quality check. Normally, Peterson pipes are an amazing brand to go with, and this experience won’t stop me from buying again. I’ll definitely try ordering this model again down the road in hopes it was just a fluke.

This pipe is absolutely beautiful and far exceeded my expectations…It’s so beautiful I almost want to just not even use it for fear of damaging it !!Made in Ireland !!I wish I could rate this product with 10 stars !!!
