I bought these for my daily walk, which used to be an issue when it got icy. With these you definitely don't have to worry about slipping, to the point I wish they weren't quite as 'aggressive' although I would still give it 5 stars because that isn't necessarily a disadvantage depending on your intended use. When I bought these I was torn between this style of studded ice grips vs. the type that has what amounts to stiff coiled spring straps wrapping under your feet.I give this three stars because over time the toe sections tends to rotate inward, I expect due to a small rotation of my foot at the back of my step just before I pick my foot up. Over a distance of about 1 mile of walking the toe of the crampons rotate so bad that the stud on the inner most part isn't even under my foot anymore. If I don't stop to fix it, it gets worse to the point the heel eventually pops off and I have to sit down and put the whole thing back on again.

For the price I have to say they are 5 star product. Yes they are cheaply made compared to others and yes the metal spikes will likely break after light use. However, for under 10$ I wasnt expecting a lot. If I can get a few winters out of them when I go hunting I will be happy. So far they were good but I would not recommend using on hard surfaces even with snow. For the woods I have no issues or wear problems yet. I did not chance using over large rocks but in the snow its great. If you are using them a lot and to shovel often, I would recommend a more expensive pair.

These ice cleats work very well; prevent slipping. I wear them 90% of the time when walking my rambunctious 120 lb. Golden retriever who still pulls me around at times. I use them shovelling snow, walking to the mailbox, etc. The large do slip off once in awhile, but adhere pretty well.

Definite life savers when there's sleet on the sidewalks or driveway. They fit over any shoe or boot (no high-heels, obviously). I would recommend anyone who lives where there's snow or sleet, to buy these. They'll save you from a potentially dangerous fall or slip.

Worked well for me and at good price. Everyone in a cold climate should have a pair! Highly recommend and easy to put on and take off.

First time I wore them 6 of the mettle grips fell out and I wore them from the front door down to the street,(In the snow) approximately 100 feet round trip. Luckily they weren't that expensive.

These ice grips fit my shoes. So now I'll be ready when this ice starts rolling in the winter.
