DEMETER Natural Perfume Spray Cologne for Women, Petrichor, 1 oz

I got this perfume as a gift for my sister, unfortunately I accidentally dropped down the stairs when I was on my way to putting gifts underneath the Christmas tree. Even tho the perfume soaked the tile, it wasn’t overwhelming powerful or gave me headaches, it smelled like a foggy rainy day. My mom told me this reminded her of her dad, so she got one as well. I ended up buying a second one for my sister and she wears it every single day.

The definition of Petrichor: A pleasant smell that frequently accompanies the first rain after a long period of warm, dry weather. The description says "This cologne captures the special earthy scent created when rain falls on dry soil"... What this smells like is strawberries. I'm not if this is improperly labeled by the manufacturer? Because the smell of rain does not smell like strawberries. 0/10 Would not recommend.

I like this brand for its variety of interesting smells. But their "petrichor" does not smell like earth after rain. It smells a LOT like baby powder. I actually enjoy that smell, in small doses. So. I'll slowly use it. But not the refreshing scent I was hoping for

Very sweet chemical smell almost that of a watermelon scented handsoap. Even that is faint, no hints of rain or petrichor

I love the smell of this, it’s just basically gone from my skin within about 2 hours. Smell is 5/5 for me.

It smells more like a mix of artificial watermelon mixed with just straight up hand sanitizer, no where near the advertised petrichor scent, which is the smell you get after a rainfall. Plus it's very, very strong, which WOULD be good, if it smelled good. I cannot recommend this in good faith. Only saving grace is it smells much better after it tones down, which it needs to do a lot of.

Petrichor seems to be the fragrance that everyone wants but nobody seems able to replicate for whatever reason. And this one's no exception. I think maybe mine was possibly a mis-labelled bottle, a mistaken mixture or something. As I cannot fathom someone actually messing up the fragrance this badly unless it was a joke. Upon getting it and testing it, it took me only seconds to place the smell, it smells like watermelon with soapy notes. And if that doesn't remind you of a rainy afternoon, don't worry, that means you're normal. It smells absolutely nothing like petrichor. I even brought it up to others to ask if they thought the same thing and the general consensus was that it smelled like watermelon. Unfortunately, nobody wanted it and I believe I ended up throwing it out.

Lighter smell than real petrichor (which is deeper and earthier), but SUCH a nice smell! Scratches that itch when it hasn't rained for awhile and leaves me feeling fresh and clean.

Advertised as petrichor smell. I personally don't smell it, but my partner claims it does. Smells very nice nonetheless. It's a bit of a neutral smell so it works for both genders; it doesn't stick to the common fragrance directions for males/females.

Does not smell of petrichor at all.

Pour avoir senti l'odeur de la pluie après l'orage, sur le bitume et dans la garrigue, je trouve que c'est plutôt raté et que ce flacon sent plus l'odeur du cambouis. Beurk
