HOKA ONE ONE Men's Bondi 8Running Shoes

Bought these as I’m an older runner and I wanted a good shock absorbing trainer. Wasn’t dissappointed. My recovery time between runs has improved. Comfy and surprisingly lightweight

I used to be Asics/Brooks only. These are the most revolutionary trainers ever. I've even gone to custom in-soles, etc but no longer required as these are absolutely amazing on both trails and metal roads (the support and cushioning is fabulous). The only negative is there has been some wearing of the soles (probably based on jagged rocks or stones) and not yet that much mileage. But I think I'll be sticking to this brand from now on...

These trainers are incredibly light & comfortable, that it really feels like walking on cloud. They also protect against foot fatigue & leg pains, which encourages regular physical activity. Highly recommended!

Super comfy with great support. White ones should come with their own laundry bag as they're impossible to keep clean!

Comfortable throughout the great north run

Jan 2024 UPDATE - After gentle use, the insole of the right shoe is moving about. I went out today and it moved so much the edge cut in to my heal and instep. Rating reduced to one star due to poor manufacture and very quick failure. Anyone want a pair of rubbish shoes before they hit the bin? These are very well made trainers but unfortunately are about half a size smaller than advertised. Returned for a refund and have ordered half a size up. UPDATE - Got replacements half a size up and they fit fine. These are not trainers for people with a low instep. The support bump is quite high. They are good trainers for social wear but I am unconvinced they make good running shoes. I will keep these for smart-casual and continue to reply on my ASICS for running.

I bought it after reading many good reviews. However, I was disappointed by the quality and finishing of the shoes. I'm not sure if I got a fake one. After a week of use, I already see it won't last very long.

Hands down this is the best, most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. More comfortable than Sketchers and that says a lot.

Ich habe die HOKA Bondi 8 gekauft, weil ich seit längerer Zeit nach einem gut gedämpften Laufschuh gesucht habe – und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Schon beim ersten Anprobieren merkt man, wie weich und komfortabel die Sohle ist. Ich laufe regelmäßig auf Asphalt und hatte vorher öfter Knieschmerzen – seit ich den Bondi 8 trage, ist das deutlich besser geworden. Der Schuh fühlt sich zwar etwas wuchtig an, ist aber überraschend leicht. Gerade bei längeren Läufen ist die Dämpfung ein echter Gamechanger. Auch für den Alltag trage ich ihn inzwischen gerne, weil er einfach super bequem ist. Optisch ist er etwas klobiger als andere Modelle, aber das nehme ich für den Komfort gerne in Kauf. Was mir besonders gefällt, ist der angenehme Fersenhalt. Nichts rutscht, und der Schuh sitzt schön stabil. Ein kleiner Nachteil ist vielleicht, dass er nicht der atmungsaktivste Schuh ist – im Sommer kann es schon mal etwas warm werden. Trotzdem: Für mich einer der besten Schuhe, die ich bisher hatte. Fazit: Wer einen hochwertigen, extrem bequemen Laufschuh mit starker Dämpfung sucht, macht mit dem Bondi 8 nichts falsch. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
