Egg Crate Panels Soundproof Studio Foam
This foam are descent for the price and size. They were very useful on covering a good amount of space on my self made studio. It does the job to keep the noise contain and also i notice it helps to insulate heat too. Perfect to keep noice in and a warm insulated place.

Don't Buy
The pictures speak for themselves. If I could give them negative stars I would. Stick with Auralex Foam. They are more expensive but worth every penny.

Non-Smelling & Adhere Well
The media could not be loaded. I have put 4 different sound panels into my studio, including these ones. I didn’t use the adhesives it came with because I don’t want to chance them damaging my wall. Instead I used 3m tape on all 4 different types of panels, and these and one other brand are the only ones that haven’t fallen off.I think I do prefer square shapes over these hexagon shapes as they are a little easier for me to line up. These panels have no bad smell, and I like that they are made with eco friendly materials.Although not 100% soundproof they have reduced the noise in my studio. They are lightweight and well made!

I'm still working on the best placement for these notice cancelling tiles as I'm trying to create something pretty but useful! More to follow soon!

Works fine, no complaints
A comparison review. I love comparison reviews, don't you? :-) These all have a similar, felt-like texture--stiff with a fuzzy surface. This item: ASIN B09N8SDBMZFOUCARSI 12 Pack Acoustical Wall Panels - Hexagon7.5 sq ft - $3.60/sqftThe paper backing peels off easily and the panels stick to the wall nicely. They seem to be exactly the same as ASIN B09KBQ4MXT (and much cheaper)Other, similar products:ASIN B09KBQ4MXT12 Pack Sound Proof Foam Panels7.5 sq ft - $5.07/sqftThe paper backing peels off easily and the panels stick to the wall nicely. They seem to be exactly the same as ASIN B09N8SDBMZ (and much more expensive--minus 1 star)ASIN B09QMCP4S3LINKCHANCE Self Adhesive Hexagon Acoustic Panels 16 Pieces13.67 sq ft - $3.88/sqftThe plastic backing was difficult to peel off--sometimes the stickum came with the backing instead of staying on the panel. Dimensionally accurate, dense material. Not quite as large as advertised.
I ordered a bunch of acoustic tiles to outfit my RV with sound deadening material that is also insulating as well as decorative.Of the 6 sets I ordered, this was the least dimensionally accurate, almost hilariously so. Removing them from the box, you could immediately tell something was off. These panels are not in any way symmetrical. The sides themselves were a fairly consistent 7", which was nice, since the rest of the panels I ordered had sides that varied up to 1/2". However, whatever cutting machine they used was not calibrated and cut them in a mishapen geometry that is accurate to the length but not the position of the cuts. If you look at the first picture I posted, you can see what I'm talking about. One half is shifted over by at leave 0.75" from the other half. These are much denser than I expected though (all of them were). With these sort of tiles, you really need wall to wall coverage, as they are so dense, they are going to tend to reflect sound themselves somewhat, and if you combine that with bare walls, they are going to be much less useful than the less dense, more foam type panels.Quality seems decent and for the right application, they are probably going to be just fine functionally, but aesthetically, you aren't going to be happy with these.

Easy to install, knocks some sound down
Installed these near a server that is installed in an office / workshop area. Installed them behind and near the sides of the server rack and they helped reduce some of the fan noise. I will likely figure out some sort of a swing panel to put in front of the server to absorb some of the sound from the front too.I also used these in a kitchen cabinet where I installed a tankless reverse osmosis system that had a pump that was a little louder than I would have liked. I installed them underneath, on the sides and set one loose in front of the system and it has dramatically reduced the sound. The adhesive is very strong, so be certain of your placement once you take the backing off.Overall very happy with these tiles and plan to install them in other places were noise reduction is needed.
