Very good made very strong not cheap made very nice collar very nice furnish on it works great. I believe it’s better than what I had before that I bought from the store or the store one they’re not as sturdy as this one.

This is a good gate, but mine arrived in an opened, taped-up box with no directions inside. Careless and unacceptable.

While the gate does the job, there are several drawbacks that make it far from ideal.Pros:Affordable: This is one of the most budget-friendly gates available, which might appeal to those looking for a temporary solution.Aesthetic Design: The farmhouse-style finish adds a touch of charm and blends well with rustic or neutral home decor.Pressure-Mounted: It’s easy to install without the need for tools or drilling into walls.Cons:Flimsy Build: The materials feel cheap, and the gate doesn’t provide the robust security I was expecting. It feels like it could be easily dislodged with minimal pressure.Lacks Durability: After a few uses, the locking mechanism seems to loosen, making me question its long-term reliability.Not Ideal for Active Kids or Pets: If you have a determined toddler or an energetic pet, this gate might not hold up.While this gate might work for light-duty use or as a temporary solution, it’s not a product I would recommend for households needing reliable, heavy-duty protection. The instructions say not to use this gate at the top of the stairs! I didn’t realize this -but it makes sense and I needed it for the bottom of our stairs anyways.The gate was a pain to figure out how to open and extend. To the point that we are just going to step over it when we use the stairs.The gate seems pretty flimsy. We are using it at the bottom of our stairs to prevent the baby from climbing them. At least if he pulls down this gate I’ll be able to hear it and grab him before he climbs the stairs. But the gate is flimsy and could be pulled down by an excited baby in my opinion.The gate was cheaper than the others we have for the top of the stairs and it is evident. The gate comes with four plastic pieces that you are supposed to attach with sticky foam squares. This is supposed to help hold the gate in place. But the gate is adjusted my notches only. So if your width doesn’t match up perfectly then this gate isn’t going to work. We have an uneven gap due to our baseboards so there is only three points of contact keeping the gate in place.We will keep the gate for now as we just need it as an idea of a boundary at the bottom of the stairs to prevent baby from climbing up with our knowledge.

Would have been 5 stars but the instructions left much to be desired.
