Chipboard crafted into an affordable and aesthetically pleasing work/gaming station.
AestheticsProsLooks great - the finishing, paint, color - it’s impressive. The added station to put an additional laptop is great. For the price - it’s absolutely worth it. No question whatsoever.Cons (strictly situational and won’t apply to all)The size. It’s huge. Which I believe is what makes it so resourceful but make sure to check if it fits your desired area via the virtual measuring tab through your phone camera.AssemblyYou will definitely need two people to assemble it. It’s pretty straightforward and easy partially because of how light and cheap the wood is. The screws and all are nicely packed and it easy to identify thanks to the impressively simple manual.QualityLook, you get what you pay for so it’s almost unfair to the seller if I start blabbing about how cheap and easily breakable this thing is. They’ve done a good job, got it delivered considerably quickly and have a more than decent manual, toolkits etc.So sure it’s 2 stars on sturdiness. But it’s a trade worth making for the cost.Final thoughtsIf you have the space, don’t have quite a lot of money for a station and still want something aesthetically pleasing and resourceful, then go for it. It’s great… does the job in every way.If you’re looking to buy a station durable enough to pass down generations (pun intended), I doubt you’ll succeed. Can break with a warmup Choku Zuki from the Cobra Kai 😂

Use your own tools, trust me
This desk is amazing for what you pay for. Very decent build quality, it looks really nice, and most of all it is extremely spacious. Huge upgrade from what I was using before. It took me a solid hour to put it together because the tools they give you are extremely cheap, I was only able to finish the job because I had a high quality allen wrench. Simply by using the Allen wrench it provided, I ended up rounding off the edges of it, rendering it useless.Despite the cheap tools they provided, they provide an extremely easy to follow installation video in the photo gallery on this page, I honestly don't know how long it would have taken me had there not been a video to follow because I am dyslexic and have trouble reading instructions sometimes lol.Overall I am extremely pleased.

Pros and Cons
Firstly, let me state my reason for buying this particular desk. I'm in the middle of certification training for the career I want to be in. That career (and training) requires that I have 3 large spiral-bound books accessible at all times near my computer. So I needed the space for a 17" Laptop and THREE 9x12ish code books. It accomplishes that, with room for a photo, my Creative brand round speakers, desk organizer, LED desk lamp, Alexa and various small decorations. In this regard, I have ZERO complaints.PROS: - Plenty of surface space without taking up a significant portion of floor space. - Truly easy assembly (ESPECIALLY if you're no stranger to Assemble At Home furniture). - Reasonable durability for what it's made of, most in the same class are far less durable. - Attractive, in-style wood finish look (I was actually able to find a rolling shelf unit in the same finish). - Lightweight, so it's very easy to move this desk without disassembling if you have an extra pair of hands (cumbersome shape, not single-mover friendly). - Repositionable "Monitor shelf" (I use it for Alexa and my lamp). - Small desk drawer ideal for pens, a notepad, sticky notes, etc.CONS: - I am CHRONICALLY bashing my knees against the support posts. I keep my laptop at the curved/rounded edge because it works best for my book layout, but that means my 5' 9" tall self had to put bumper guards on the (NECESSARY, I'm not saying it shouldn't have them because it stabilizes the desk and supports weight) support posts. - It's not, and nor will this type of material EVER BE, as solid and sturdy as wood plank desks. It's also lightweight, so that factors in. Expect some wobbles. I wouldn't recommend this, or anything in it's class, for anyone requiring significant weight bearing ability (i.e. multiple towers, heavy screens, stacks of heavy textbooks, etc). - The faux wood finish has managed to rub off onto my code books' covers after a few months of shifting them around. I'd have gotten something to cover the desk or line it had I known this would be an issue. - While the drawer is perfect for casual, lightweight office supplies, it has a max load of about 2-3 lbs. That's not a whole lot if you tend to have A LOT of stationary items, or wanted the drawer for multiple heavier items like external drives, manual/code reference books, etc.All in all, it's a good desk for it's price and the materials it's made of. Save yourself frustration and be reasonable with your expectations for inexpensive items that get delivered to your door by contract services. If you're looking for something more, then your best bet is coughing up the bucks and going to an actual furniture store.

Very happy with this desk!
Bought this desk to start my work from home journey. I thouroughly read the reviews and looked at a few other options before I decided to buy this one. I bought it because it was the best priced for the size I needed (I have 2 monitors and a laptop I need on my desk). When it came, the box was damaged, had a few holes in it due to shipping. But the desk itself only had a minor scratch, it was completely enclosed in styrofoam which protected it. The minor scratches do not deter from the functionality of the desk at all, and if I wanted I could easily cover them up. Assembling the desk was very easy (I am a 5'4" 120 female who has no muscle tone whatsoever). The only challenge I encountered was getting the screw into the wood, which was very easily and quickly done with a drill gun (totally recommend, they're only 20 bucks). For my application, the desk is very sturdy. It doesnt move at all when I type. And I can be a violent typer. If you bought this desk and you have an issue with surdiness, go back and tighten your screws or re-evaluate what you're using it for. I have short legs, so the horizonal wood planks in the front are useful for me to put my feet on. The desk sits high enough that when I'm sitting at it, I have to have my chair all the way up. Overall, I am very pleased with this desk, and totally recommend it to anyone who is using it as a work from home desk.
