Lives up to all the features listed. Well designed, constructed, easy to use and install, etc. Would rate it a 5, but it's noisy. Not terribly noisy, but it's certainly louder than the shower volume before. This was for a center hall bathroom. On the other side is the master bath and bedroom. When the center hall shower is used, I have to turn up the TV to compensate for the shower volume now. I'm going to try the insert restrictors.

Leaks from the showerhead end, but fulfills the main utility of it - which is to lower the volume/pressure of the water from the showerhead.Be warned - the top nut screws into the bottom section so if the unit is too tightly thread into the shower head thread, that bottom section does separate from the top nut and can get damaged.The cylinder wall is quite thin - price reflects that but still worth mentioning.

I'm fixing up a 1978 RV, tiny little thing with a combination bathroom/toilet/shower in the same 2' x 2' space. I put in a new faucet on the sink that has the cutoff handle to direct water to the handheld shower head...and the shower head is supposed to have one position for OFF. Suffice to say that neither of those cutoff valves actually stopped the water flow to the showerhead completely. Result was that when I used the sink to brush my teeth, I'd get a free shower drizzle down my neck. So I bought this and put it on the faucet and hose joint and now I can blissfully brush my teeth without also causing water to run down the wall and into the floor pan and my neck stays dry. THANK YOU! Very solidly constructed. Works like a charm.

Put this on the camper shower it saves a lot of water and is easy to use. I recommend to anyone interested.
