I really enjoyed doing the scratch arts pages. The finished picture is also lovely. I put them on display. I enjoyed completing these so much I purchased them again

I really like scratch art as I find it quite soothing (and I lack any artistic talent myself!)This is a good kit, which is fun to do and the end results look quite impressive. It comes with the tools you'll need: two scratching pens and a cleaning brush (because scratch art does create a bit of mess when you scratch off the surface to reveal the underneath) The tools work effectively.The picture boards a re a good size - quite large.The only slight downside (apart from the mess, which you can't avoid with any scratch art set!) is that some of the pictures have quite a lot of dark colours (black/grey) So, when you scratch off those bits, it doesn't really reveal anything different. But other areas are very colourful!A good set for adults or kids to do.

I received two products from Artsper to review the first was a scratching art pen set and the other was this Van Gogh art set. I can honestly say they are worlds apart from each other.Thankfully this set comes with a brush and a sturdy pointy scratch pen, which will last you along time. The pen scratches away at ease and is very forgiving within multidirectional passes.The pad is A3 in size and contains four famous Van Gogh paintings, in my opinion what would have taken this product to the next level was to either add or supplement the "Starry Night Over The Rhone" with his infamous self portrait. I think this is the only thing missing from the set to honour the Dutch mad artistIts worth taking your time with each famous project, so you can feel the lines, the direction and feelings of the artist as you go. Van Gogh was penniless whose paintings never really sold until after his death. I find his works deeply humble and hope that you enjoy this as much as me.

The Van Gogh scratch plates are nice enough, but the painting style doesn't lend itself well to the scratch art - often i scratch the required gray areas only to reveal the same gray or dark colour, which makes it hard to see exactly what you scratched off and what you didn't. This second guessing is unpleasant.The end result is nice enough though.(I also dislike how large it is, but that's my fault for not checking)
