The buckles on my car seat's would sit below my kids bottoms so this keeps them a few inches from the bottom and easier to find. It also keeps the top buckle from being pushed too far down or sliding down on the seatbelts. I used a small screwdriver to carefully make a space for the button to push through vs breaking any of the seatbelt.

Used on a seat belt strap when the last button came off. I was half expecting to need to use glue with these, but didn't. Snapped together and seemed to hold great. It's only been 2 weeks so we'll see, but happier than I thought.

Substantially similar to the ones that are factory installed on some vehicles. They never catch or snag on anything except for that seat belt buckle. These are great for replacing failed original ones so that the seat belt buckle doesn't go all the way down by the floor. They are also excellent for repositioning of the buckles idle rest spot so that it is easier to grab. Just make sure that it isn't tethered too high to introduce slack into the lap belt. That would be very dangerous. Great product and very well made.PS. Do not cut a hole in the seat belt to put this pin through! Tease the center of the seat belt apart with a blunt pic and then insert the button
