MUBVIEW Wireless Video Doorbell with Chime, 1080p, 2-Way Talk, Night Vision, Human Detection, Card/Cloud Storage - No Subscription

Purchased this doorbell because of many reasons. First off, it is rechargeable and easy to install without wiring, next you don’t need to pay for a service to monitor, you just put in an SD card to store all of your incidences. The picture is clear and it also has the inside control for answering calls etc, which had never worked since I got it. So after having the unit for six months and trying to get the inside piece working, decided to write to the company to see what could be done. They immediately got in contact with me and apologized and sent me a whole new unit. So if you are checking into a doorbell camera, I’m telling you won’t go wrong with this one. It is very affordable and does a beautiful job, not to mention a wonderful company that stands behind their products!

EDIT: The seller shipped me another chime unit and I've had it for about a week or 2 now amd I'm VERY pleased now. Maybe I had a defective unit but they made it right! So far, so good. I bought the doorbell with the chime unit early this year and I've been having troubles with it. Sadly I've been way busy and haven't been able to write a review. #1. the doorbell would stop sending a doorbell ring and snapshot to my phone after a couple days of restarting the doorbell unit. When I first installed it, the doorbell press would ring my phone app and show a snapshot of whatever rang the bell. Now, I have to restart the doorbell for it to work properly but it only lasts a couple days and it stops sending the notification to my phone. It will ring the bell from the doorbell unit itself but my phone won't ring or get the snapshot. I only get a little push notification that it was rang, which does me no good unless I'm already on my phone which I'm usually not. #2. The little chime unit that came with the doorbell is defective. I have put 3 new sets of batteries into it and it causes the batteries to leak and corrode. inside you can see the effects of the battery leaking due to the chime unit dysfunction. I keep it inside in the back of the house so it can be heard but you would think its been underwater for years or something. When I change the batteries, it will work properly but again, that only lasts for a few days to a week. I don't have many visitors but when I do, I never know they're there unless I hear them knocking on the door because the doorbell isn't sending me notifications when the button is pressed. I have followed all the steps from the FAQ on the amazon page. The only thing that works is restarting the doorbell but it doesn't last. Nothing works for the chime unit other than replacing batteries which go dead very quickly with near zero use and batteries are way too expensive to have to swap them out every week. No idea why the chime box isn't rechargeable like the doorbell. Right now, its a good camera but that's it, not DOORBELL camera, just a camera, which I already have one for the front yard. I've contacted the seller and if the seller fixes this issue, I will happily change my rating but as of right now, I can't recommend this for what it claims to be.

I like that it had a clear picture during the day. It was easy to set up and love that you can use sd card instead of monthly fees being charged. It holds battery life pretty good and has features to set it to low or customize use. I don’t like that it only records 30 seconds video or bits and pieces of what’s happening. I thought you were able to record a whole day or so. It does glitch and catch when someone or something has passed and my WiFi is strong. But other than that it’s a good camera just need those to be a little longer and the sound it’s good

The only problem I have with this camera is on notifications. My camera is on my front door and it only send notifications when the door is opened which records myself on the door. If someone is on front of my door or rings the doorbell it is not recorded nor I get notifications. I checked the settings and I just do not know why this is happening therefore this camera is useless to me. I actually bought 2 of them which I can not use. Very disappointed with purchase.

Decent. The motion sensitivity can be adjusted but still having a lot of false alerts.

Set up/ connection was straight forward. The app allows you to receive notifications when someone is at the door. You are also able to respond to the visitor via the app (in case you’re away). Preferences allow you to set the sensitivity for motion (good option to adjust based on high/ low volume area). Images and video are clear. Overall a great buy for the price. — I had an issue with the indoor door chime which stopped working. I was able to contact the seller, however, to advise. They responded quickly and were able to send me a replacement. — Would definitely recommend – good security and affordable.

I got this 2 years ago, in 2023. We didn't use it for several months, and when I went back, the chime was no longer working. (Awhile before that, we noticed that the last batteries had splooged inside there.) I wrote the company to see how much a replacement chime was... and they sent me one for free. They just asked for the original order #. AND THEN... it was here in like 3 days. Completely excellent service. I appreciated that very much! The doorbell and the chime still work great. (I just wish they made one that plugs into the wall, but I knew that going in.)
