Very sturdy replacement for plastic versions that break
Just installed and used this all-metal spray wand today. It performed very well. Only problem is an inadequate seal where the hose barb at the inlet screws into the valve body. This leaks under my pump pressure (80 to 90 psi). Some teflon tape on the threads helped, but still get intermittent fine spray out of this joint. Should have an O-ring seal, but there is no internal shoulder to seal against. Nonetheless, this is head and shoulders above the quality of other spray wands I have tried that are made from molded or injected plastic. Further experience reveals that the pipe between the spray valve body and the nozzle is a press-in fit with no restraint on either end other than a tight friction fit. Under my electric pump pressure of 80 to 90 psi, the pipe is gradually pushed out of the fitting and blows out of the valve body or the nozzle blows off the end. A quick field fix was accomplished by installing a hose clamp tightly on the pipe at each end and wrapping form wire around the pipe and the opposite end of the fitting into which the pipe is pressed. This restrains the pipe from moving out of the fittings after the loop form wire between the hose clamp and the fitting is twisted tight. The adjustable nozzle on the wand allows rapid adjustment of the spray pattern between close-up spot spaying and more distant targets, supporting accurate application of spray at various distances, even in a light breeze.

Fixes 2 Gal Sprayer With Crummy Wand
All metal construction. Good sturdy metal valve. Adjustable metal spray nozzle from stream, to fan, to fine mist. All the things you want for a long and reliable service life. It also has a very simple trigger lock to hold it in the ON position. Actually it is a nice touch but it takes a little getting used to since it can lock ON without your realizing it. If you didn't want the lock it would be a cinch to remove as it is simply a wire bale that catches on a nub. The kit came with two small hose clamps for installation. They worked but they were the weakest part of the entire setup. I am not sure but I don't think they are stainless steel and they worked a bit roughly as I tightened them -- but they DID work. I was searching for an entire replacement 2 gallon sprayer with an all metal wand to replace one I had with a crappy plastic wand that had failed, but the pump was still good. A common complaint. Good garden sprayers with metal wands are expensive! When I stumbled upon this it was a fraction of the cost of a new sprayer so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did. This particular wand comes with fittings for two different hose sizes which is convenient because you know it is going to fit whatever old sprayer you own. I have other sprayers besides the one that I fitted this wand to and they have dicey wands of their own that are bound to fail. I will probably buy another one of these just to have as a spare against that day. And as I mentioned, because it has fittings for two hose sizes included in the package I don't have to worry about it fitting when that day comes. Lastly if in the future I need an entirely new 2 gal sprayer I'd just buy an inexpensive one and get one of these wands to upgrade it. It would be less expensive and better final results than the expensive garden sprayers that come with metal wands. I haven't had it long enough to make meaningful comments on longevity, but it seems well made with quality materials, so I expect it to last many years.

Not bad at all, but leaky and wobbly
Well, hope you have Teflon tape or something to seal. I’m using a high pressure 100ish psi. The base adapter leaked water all over, the extension to nozzle is wobbly. I wanted to return it, but it does work, if you tidy up the leaks and ignore the wobbly wand it’s not bad. But I’m not sure how long any of these seal will last. I’m a stickler for rebuildable/FIXABLE tools. This would be one of those. I would give it five stars if there were better o-ring/ no leaks/ teflon tape included, and no leaks wobble in wand. I was also thinking I could use this in many other ways but it will mainly function as a small plant wand.

Thought I would be happy…..Wrong! (With 4/27/25 update.)
When sprayer handle arrive, it look and felt like a quality product. Especially for the money. Just used it for the 2nd time, about a 2 hour job, and the wand fell out of the handle while spraying. I tried at least 8 times to fix, but after 2 or 3 minutes of spraying it kept coming off. I lost a lot of spray material every time this happened. The end of the wand is flanged, but the nut that locks it down onto handle is no bueno. Maybe the company will back their product and send me a new one. If so, I’ll let you guys know that they made it right, but only after I use it a few times. Any company can make 1 defect out of a 1,000. But the way I rate them is if they back their product and want their customers to be happy. The ball is in their court.🏀 I will follow up by end of August to report if company responded to me, made it right and if this time it works as it’s supposed to. Update: 4/27/25 This company never sent me a replacement wand, so I would not recommend product, especially that I now see that many people reviews have had the exact same issue as me. Maybe they don’t back their product by not sending me a new wand, because the replacement is junk too? Either way, this company never called me back or responded to my first review. Sorry for the slow response on update.✌️

Great Replacement for the Plastic Wand on my HDX Sprayer.
The HDX Plastic sprayer wand no longer shut off the flow. This has a superior nozzle and valve. Perfect fit. Worth the price.

Solidly built, metal all the way through.
Infinitely superior to the OEM wand that came with my tow-behind Brinley sprayer, the handle of which cracked after first use, and leaked like a sieve at the joints. Also infinitely superior to any after-market spray wands I've inspected. I got the 36" version, the business end of which came in two parts, one of typical pump sprayer length, and a shorter one to add to the end of the longer one. Skeptical at first because of increased opportunity for leaks, I realized the two-piece approach essentially gave me three wands of differing lengths for different purposes - and no leaks, even at high pressure.

works great

Worked well until the threaded connection at the end came loose when I attached the extension. With the extension it was great but that lasted about 30 minutes before I realised it looked like it was falling apart.

Nozzle was crappy and the wand leaked.
