This Bird Feeder has two great features for food, the Suet Trays and Bird Seed separate compartment.It looks like a cute barn with its bright red walls and black metal roof.The easy-fill feature (lift roof) for the bird seed provides a great protective cover, as well.The overall construction is very high quality.Looking forward to the birds coming back to feed after our high heat indexes. Really like this bird feeder as it's made entirely of metal. The finish, (in our case, yellow), is flawless and looks like it will hold up for a long time. The suet cages for the side are very easy to fasten, in fact I didn't even open the directions. Plenty of room for whatever seed you wish to put inside. The bird perches fold down and back up again if you wish. The roof itself is strong metal and isn't flimsy. Lastly the hanging cable is probably the best I've seen on any bird feeder. Extremely strong. I think this is an excellent bird feeder for the price and I recommend it.

I have had so many bird feeders over the years and this one is by far the cutest and seems to be holding up much better than most, too! It is easy to fill the top and the suet slots on either side. If I have one comment, it's the suet wires sometimes will get knocked to the ground if there's a lot of squirrel action on them. They have brackets to hold them in but they can be easily popped off by pushing up on them. So, if you are also feeding squirrels, that's my heads up. Otherwise, this is an amazing bird feeder and is cute, too!

It's a cute feeder and looks nice - and I like that I can have seed and suet. It holds a lot of seed, is easy to open and fill, and is a really solid feeder, however - as other reviews state, the holes are too big where the seed comes out. I've found the seed flies out, and when birds perch, so much gets knocked out of the feeder so the entire thing is empty of seed in less than 2 days. (Which is fine - I'm all about feeding the mourning doves who sit under it too!)

I was very pleased when I received this bird feeder. It is very easy to load with seed and I was impressed with its durability. In particular, the steel cable that it hangs from, which in my experience is usually what breaks first, is much more substantial then other birdfeeders that I use. In short, I expect to be using it for a long time. Further, the roof has a good overhang to help keep the seeds dry and provide some protection for the birds as they feed. The perches are also well designed and substantial. We have been feeding birds for many years and we put out five seed feeders every day plus suet. I believe this is the best built and designed feeder we've ever had. I strongly recommend it.
