It's not as good as my former HSI. It pulls at my hair; however, I have fine, frizzy hair. This unit is a bit wide for my liking. I adjusted the temp up to 392 degrees; 356 was too low. I usually use a 375-degree setting, which is perfect, but this is a digital do-dad. I will not purchase again; I prefer to have control over the temperature. I sincerely hope it doesn't fry my hair. It seems fair for the price, but I am wondering how long this one will last. My HSI lasted over three years.
