Brooks Men's Ghost 15 GTX Waterproof Neutral Running Shoe

Tried many brands of Gortex running/walking shoes for everyday wear including inclement weather. Acknowledging that a great fit in footwear is very individual, here's why I'm stating this is best for me. Sole has soft cushion. Definitely softer than gortex shoes labeled for trail running/walking. Bottom of shoe has good traction but isn't greatly serrated and deep so that particles get stuck on the sole. Going up and down inclines and stairs are comfortable. Sides are supportive but not stiff. In black, the shoe is stylish enough to wear in the office; is a great travel shoe for almost all weather occasions (haven't tried winter snow). Lightweight enough. As other reviews have stated, it's perhaps a few millimeters on the short side so consider going up a 1/2 size if current size is tight. I did not have to size up. So good I'm buying a second pair.

My grandson has been wearing skater type shoes for many years. He needed to get a pair of or slip proof and waterproof shoes for his job. We hated to spend this much on a pair work shoes but now we are glad we did. They are a really good quality, extremely comfortable and now they are the only shoes he will wear. He is going to buy another pair for when he is not at work. They were true to size, not too hot and his feet have never been wet at work. I highly recommend these.

This is my third pair of Brooks. Ordered these for wear on a visit to England. We did get caught in a downpour while out on the streets one day. Our feet stayed totally dry.

These are super conferrable and stand up to the daily abuse of running around. Brooks has great support to if you ever have anything go wrong they will work to resolve it fast. I love the black and gray look!

I love the shoe, comfortable and pretty durable so far. Only thing I wish is that the toe box was wider, nothing standard or normal about a narrow toe box.

Bought this shoe because I wanted waterproof shoes to run and walk when it just rained outside. Now ended up using this shoe for not only running and exercising while it is rainy/wet but everyday because of how amazing it feels. The quality is good. The sole is very supportive and offers neutral support. My knees and feet do not hurt anymore after running my normal 2 mile runs. It did take time to get used to and it gave me Achilles blisters-solution to this was to tie a runners knot so the heel does not slip so easily/frequently.

Needed a pair of waterproof comfortable shoes. Hadn’t necessarily thought of buying Brooks as I usually just buy them for running but since they were suggested to me when I searched waterproof shoes I figured I’d try them. They are waterproof and very comfortable! (Ok granted I am not immersing my feet in a pool of water 100% of the time but I need them to hold up to commuting about 30 min. daily by bike/foot in a rainy climate and they have definitely succeeded!). And because they are Brooks, I imagine they are more comfortable than some other types of waterproof shoes since brooks are known for durability and comfort. Very happy with this purchase. Worth the $$$.

Good fit! Bought these for my boyfriend, so we can start working out again. He appreciated the fit, the look, and that they are simple. For the guy that just wants plain, comfortable workout shoes.
