I have this hooked to the armrest of a mission style recliner which serves as my office chair, and it works great. Had a different brand (single arm) I bought in 2020 which broke after 5 years. While I was happy with the old one, the NB North Bayou Dual Arm 2 in 1 is better in every way, from build quality, clamp quality and much better positioning of my laptop while I work. PRO - Heavy duty, the box was so heavy I was concerned it was too much, but it wasn't PRO - Simple, effective design, it just works PRO - Includes all the hardware, screws and tools required to assemble PRO - Cord management, cords are secure and out of the way but with the play needed when moving the laptop or monitor PRO - Assembly is intuitive and easy, though when you open the box and see all the parts you may initially feel otherwise PRO - The NB North Bayou Dual Arm 2 in 1 mount is extremely well packaged, open the box, everything is wrapped in plastic and has its own space in the protective packaging. Smaller or more fragile items (the plastic slider brackets which hold the sides of the laptop to keep it from moving are the only potentially fragile parts, but they are tucked out of harms way) CON - The assembly manual is very basic and poorly written but has good illustrations for both the parts list and assembly, it's all you need because it's a simple process which took me about 30 minutes, even with limited written instructions. CON - The threaded holes to mount the laptop stand to the swing arm are initially hard to get the mounting screws through. I was able to use the included screws and a mini ratchet wrench I have to get the screws started and then tightened and loosened the screws which made it easier to get them started when mounting the laptop stand. I'm very happy with this, it's very solidly built and provides a stable base for my laptop and the 27" monitor I added to my system as I track and research investments.

Very easy setup, really sturdy. It's holding a monitor and my laptop perfectly. Takes a bit to get it where you are comfortable with it, but definitely glad I purchased it. Works very well for my setup.

This is my first ever purchase of a monitor mount, so I'm not well versed in the subtleties of different mounts. I bought this specifically for mounting a 27" monitor and 16" Thinkpad laptop. The mount has no problem doing this. My main complaint is I can't get the laptop and monitor to position right next to each other, when mounted. There is a gap of about 6" between them. This is because this dual mount was designed to accommodate the largest monitors possible (32") side by side. So, if you want to use with anything smaller than dual 32", than you're going to have a gap between them. For me, that means staring right at the vertical bar that the laptop and monitor mount to. This makes for NOT the cleanest look on my desk. I ended up keeping this mount but I'm only using one arm out of the two and mounted just my laptop. My monitor is staying on its original mount so that I could get them side by side. As for this mount, it really is designed for a "large desk" setup. My 48" x 24" desk looks crowded with this mount on it. I like the spring loaded arms on this mount. They have no problem lifting and lowering the monitors to where you want them and staying put. I would recommend this mount for medium to large desk setups.

Great monitor arms and very easy to setup/move to new desk. Holds my laptop and 27" monitor with ease. The cable management it comes with is ok and does the job.

Product was easy to install, easy to adjust, and the price was good on Black Friday. I got one for myself to test it out then bought another 3 for my employees.

Exceptional unit that feels extremely sturdy not just for the price but at any price. I have bought a few products from this company over the years and they seem to be every bit as good as the name brands. If your concerned about the price point and this not being strong enough to hold your monitor, don't be. It will do the job.

Bissl knifflig am Anfang die Widerstände der Arme einzustellen, sodass diese nicht absacken aber auch nicht nach oben schnellen sobald monitor und Laptop daran sind. Der restliche Aufbau ist absolut selbsterklärend und super einfach. Absolut solide bin sehr zufrieden und möchte sie nicht mehr missen.

Great product and good value for money

Absolutely solid piece of kit, has cleaned my set up so much and made everything very functional, the arms work very well and are easily adjustable. Also setting them up was very easy I couldn’t recommend them more.
