Worked right, right out of the box.

Out of the box, this hygrometer was spot on. Salt test and compared to calibrated hygrometers, this was with in a couple percent of all of them.The big numbers are really nice, especially for older eyes.

I have purchased 5 of these for my cigar humidors and the work perfectly. I won't trust any other brand,excellent product!

Excellent seller, but poor quality device that I'd pass on and go with something you can calibrate

The seller was excellent, with quick shipping. But the product was no good. It was off by 5% RH both using salt and water to test at 75% RH and against three other calibrated hygrometers. Because you can't calibrate the device, you are stuck with whatever it is off by. One or two percent, fine, margin of error. But 5% (or more, 5% off was the *best* it could do) is unacceptable and I'm going with a more expensive unit that I can adjust to ensure the safe storage of my cigars.

Don't buy this! Very inaccurate humidity measure being off ...

Don't buy this! Very inaccurate humidity measure being off by 10pts! Also the display characters are faded. Cigar International would not replace even though unit bought 5 months ago.
