AAA batteries test at 1000mAh!
This review is for "(10-Pack) 1.2V Ni-MH AAA 1000mAh Rechargeable Battery w/Tabs Compatible with Electric Razors Toothbrushe High Power Static Applications (Telecoms UPS and Smart Grid) Electric Moped Waterpik", by Yutsujo. I did not see an item number, but it's ASIN B0C2HCB6LG. Title and ASIN are included in the review because sometimes reviews get re-sorted and are no longer associated with the correct product. The Yutsujo 10-pack of AAA 1000mAh rechargeable batteries shipped quickly and was packaged reasonably in a padded envelope. Within the shipping envelope the batteries were retail packaged in a small cardboard box imprinted with a label for for a different item, but a sticker label indicated the correct contents. Inside the box the AAA batteries were packaged in two sealed plastic baggies.I purchased the Yutsujo AAA batteries to make some DIY battery packs for devices at my house, starting with a BT-446 replacement packs for cordless phones. I've purchased battery packs on Amazon in the past only to be disappointed to find that the listing had grossly exaggerated the battery capacity. For an example, see https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R3CFN26IZGM6KV/ref=cm_cr_getr_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B08CRFL34J. I figured that it's less likely that a listing for general purpose AAA batteries would be advertised with such an exaggerated capacity claim, especially tabbed batteries as the seller must realize that the buyer will be a DIYer/informed consumer, but I guess we'll see.I test most batteries using a computerized battery tester, but for AA and AAA batteries I use my Opus BT-C2400 Battery Charger/Analyzer/Tester. The Opus features four independent channels and several modes to charge, test, and refresh AA or AAA batteries. The REFRESH mode discharges each cell, then starts cycles of charging and discharging each cell, carefully measuring the amount of energy each cell delivers (in mAh). The REFRESH mode continues cycling each cell until two consecutive measurements agree to within a certain tolerance (3%?). This mode is great for refreshing batteries which haven't been used in a long time, and for reliably determining the actual capacity of each battery.I have performed capacity tests on literally thousands of batteries (NiCD, NiMH, Li-Ion, LiFePO4, SLA) and my expectation is that a new NiMH battery should be able to deliver 95%-98% of its rated capacity. The Yutsujo AAA batteries are rated 1000mAh, so my expectation is that the measured capacity should be in the range of 950mAh-980mAh. I used the Opus in REFRESH mode on each Yutsujo and recorded these measurements (in mAh): 963, 963, 910, 970, 989, 982, 996, 909, 923 and 976. The average of these is 958mAh and the median is 967mAh, right in the middle of the expected range. In other words, careful testing confirms that the Yutsujo AAA batteries do indeed deliver 1000mAh as claimed!I removed the wires and connector from an old BT-446 battery from one cordless phone and used this to assemble a new battery pack using three Yutsujo AAA batteries. I used hot melt glue to hold the cells together, then sealed the finished pack using clear battery wrap PVC heat shrink tubing. It looks good and works GREAT. The battery in this particular phone now has about 2.5x the capacity of the old battery pack it replaced. Perfect!

tabs repel solder
Useless as the tabs are of a material that repels solder.

Nice
These are long lasting, fast charging, and seem to be well made. They work very well in my wireless mics. They seem to last at least as long, if not longer, as the big box batteries. Definitely a good value for the price.

Very high quality batteries that seem to have a good duration on life. I was able to use them for what I needed them for. They seem to charge back up pretty easily and quick overall they were easy to install and I have been very pleased with the quality of the batteries so far
