Great drill, even through stone. Do not hesitate to buy.
*This is a real review* Researched all the drills around this price range (£75 including delivery) and finally decided on this one as a couple reviews said it went through stone easily. I was worried but am very happy to report that, after using it to drill holes through an old stone cottage wall to hang a heavy wooden gate, I had no problem whatsoever. Anyone I had previously spoken to about drilling through stone was pretty negative. This drill proved them wrong. No need for an expensive "professional" level drill. I LOVE it! Also, it was a bit unclear whether it was sds-plus - it is. Not too big or heavy for a five foot female the wrong side of fifty either.

Essential
Cannot fault this purchase. This might be an over favourable review to some hardcore diy enthusiasts but since this was my first SDS drill I can't believe I hadn't bought one before. Had it for over a year, very sturdy and reliable. Lots of friends and family have borrowed it too and it always delivers. At the time I opted for a wired rather than cordless drill because I don't use it regularly and didn't want to have to charge a battery each time I started a bit of diy work. Hope this helps people decide who were pontificating like me.

ok
works well up to now its pretty light weight - would not want to drop it does come with a Jacobs chuck adaptor but that extends the drill 5-6 cm

Tough little drill...
Great quality tool. I have used this for some major renovations including putting piping through brick walls, breaking up concrete flooring, removing tiles and drilling a few holes. Despite being lighter and smaller than other SDS drills, this handled everything I could throw at it. Admittedly, after a lot of punishment it looks a bit beaten up now but it is still going strong. Would highly recommend.

It works very well
Made the right size hole exactly where I wanted it and in very quick time compared to a standard drill. Excellent.

Is it working properly ?
I bought his nearly a month ago and have used it twice. I will be using it principally as a power chisel and have bought a Bosch SDS chisel set. It is certainly powerful enough but the chisel head rotates during use. I have the operating mode and directional controls in the correct position but the chisel head rotates from flat to the surface to perpendicular so you have to keep changing the way you hold it. Can someone tell me if this is to be expected ? The manual says that setting the control to "chiselling" will lock the tool, but this is obviously not happening. Is this machine faulty ? (By the way it was delivered by Parcelforce - rubbish service - 'cos no one was in the house it was left at a Post Office - not the local one, but one miles away and had to be collected. Message to Amazon - don't use Parcelforce) Update: Machine returned to Bosch UK (excellent service - picked up and returned within the week) - However "found to be working within specifications" - If you are thinking of buying this to use as a power chisel don't bother.
