This is one of those products that you didn't know you needed until you tried them. These make moving a dining or coffee table across hard and/or particularly soft floors so effortless. They literally just slide across the surface. These came in a variety of sizes so you should find something that will fit the purpose. Highly recommended.

Moved furniture from a ceramic floor to a carpeted room at a rental. These enable us to move furniture easily and help protect the carpet. I didn’t think I’d use many of the strips but they work brilliantly on the metal bars on the dining chairs to stop them marking the carpet.

... I used these on a gateleg table which used to catch on the carpet. These allow it to slide so it can be repositioned without effort. Can recommend.

These are really useful sliders. We use them on heavy items of furniture that otherwise need 2 people to move them. It's now easy to slide them out for decorating and cleaning. I don't think they wouldn't work on very large things like an ottoman bed, but are ideal for smaller heavy cabinets and chests of drawers.
