Really good way of keeping the girls quiet for the day! These aren’t our first Scruffs and won’t be our last, one little un intent on rescuing the lot! Ours have come out best when bathed for a while.

Was a gamble to buy from USA but when granddaughter saw she'd got it..she was over the moon. Well worth it!

Well to start my daughter loved this... she’s 9..... I’m 48 and don’t live it quite as Much! To start with you will NEVER get it. To look like the toy on the box! We ended upPutting it in the tumble dryer and it still looks scruffy. The comb is rubbish and pulls the fluff out so I now look like a scruff a luff. argue a pretty expensive cheap teddy.

my Scruff a Luv is so cute. I can't forget the day I've rescued her. I expected a dog but I ended up with a beautiful kitten. if you want to get a Scruff a Luv almost as mine, you should try to wash all the glue off your Scruff a Luv before drying it and wash it gently. then, you dry it with a hairdryer in the warm settings and you dry it properly. make sure that it's completely dry from head to toe. then, you groom it with the comb provided from the set and brush the fur in a few likely directions or you would get a monster looking pet! then you give it a name(i gave myself ideas frome what color the fur is) and write it on it's collar and you fill in the certificate. if you followed these directions carefully, you would get an adorable, fluffy, sucessful pet!

The concept and toy are very cute. It is a little expensive for what eventually ends up being just a stuffed animal, but my little sister really enjoyed the process of cleaning it all up and brushing it. She loved the animal and the whole transformation, and I was happy to have a toy that had a bit of a learning opportunity built in. A little bit of adult help was needed to brush some of the more stubborn tangles out, and it still looked a little scruffy at the end, but the process of getting the toy cleaned and ready was what was really worthwhile.If you are buying it for the activity of caring for the animal (rather than just to get a stuffy) I would definitely recommend this cute toy!

I'm giving this five stars because my daughter has had so much fun with it and loves her new little puppy.That being said, I feel like this toy is way overpriced for what it is. It's an awesome concept and we all had fun bathing it, revealing which animal my daughter got, combing the animal's hair, and putting on the accessories. But after it's washed, dried, and groomed, it somewhat resembles a Dollar Tree stuffed animal. Because this toy comes as a matted ball of fur that has been balled up for who knows how long, in the end, it is disfigured and misshapen. Limbs are helplessly twisted, the head is lopsided, the face is squished flat, and stuffing inside is all bunched. And there's not a lot you can do to fix it. In addition to all of this, my daughter's puppy has a head that is way too big for its body. It's supposed to sit up, but that's nearly impossible with how top heavy it is.
