Is this semi permanent paint?

Yes, however, dependent on how well trafficked the area is. I spray a 6 mile road route each year & some of the arrows & bits of the writing are still visible (very faded) 10 months later on the back roads. The arrows / writing on main roads disappeared after about 1/2 months.

How can it be removed?

sorry i cannot give a truthful answer as we have not not tried to remove it, the paint has been used in a high traffic area and is now showing signs of wear, this is good enough for us, we have used it on a very flat surface, obviously will not wear off the same on something like tarmac.

Can it be used to paint metal surfaces? If so, how durable paint will be?

It is designed for lines when planning things like building footprints out. Not really meant to be durable I don’t think as washes off things over time. I would try a metal specific paint.
