MAINS IEC MALE TO UK 3 PIN TRAILING SOCKET 2M

I've used this product as the previous owner of our property had a wall mounted TV with all the connections added. Unfortunately the TV we bought had a plug straight from the TV and not a kettle lead connection, so this connector was fantastic and now lives behind the new wall mounted 3D television. Does exactly as expected - and couldn't find this lead in Maplin or Currys - so thank you!

Cheap and cheerful plugs. The quality is pretty good and works well. The cable is also very good and pretty long as well.

I bought an Uninterruptible Power Supply off eBay, but it didn't come with any cables. This type of cable allows me to connect any standard 3-pin plug to the UPS and have the item powered and continue to run off battery if there was a problem with the mains electricity.My UPS, an APC Series 1000, has EIGHT sockets on the back, but they were all female IEC. It's the standard 'kettle' type connection. But there was no way for me to attach the devices I needed because they are all standard UK 3-pin plugs. I bought 6 of these cables, and it now means my CCTV system, the cameras, my internet router and a Network Attached Storage device will have power for almost TWO HOURS if there was ever a fault and we lost power from the mains.If you have a UPS which has those kettle-style connections on the back, then THIS is the cable you need.

Good product, service and price

Does what you would expect. Allows you to plug a normal UK plug into something like a UPS. I plugged a 4 extension into mine and then plugged in a couple of external hard drives and a monitor. Very hand for my desktop UPS.
