Great upgrade for the e-bike…
These are great pedals!! The pedals my Freesky Swift Horse e-bike came with we’re good, but these are much, much better! Super wide, and very comfortable. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. I would definitely buy these again.

Nice pedals - great traction
Updating & Upgrading: I'm upgrading my rating from 4 to 5 stars. I've just finished another few rides with these new pedals. What a difference they make over the flat plastic city pedals that came with my bike! This is as close as you can get to utilizing all 360 degrees of your pedal stroke without wearing clip-ins. They still seem pricey but they're a fantastic addition to my ride.Original review:I'm very happy with these Funn Python Flat Bike Pedals.I ordered these to put on my Tern HSD cargo ebike. The bike came with standard flat, smooth plastic pedals. I've been shopping around for a pair of pedals that will provide a little more grip. These definitely fit the bill.I'm not a gear-head - I can clean my chain and pump up my tires but these days I leave most of the mechanical work up to the professionals at my local bike shop. I figured if I'm not too old to ride I should still be up to the challenge of swapping out a couple of pedals. Luckily I was right. I had no trouble removing the old pedals and installing these. I was initially confused because these Funn pedals don't have the flat spots on the pedal collar for a wrench. The instructions, though not fantastic, were clear enough to help me figure out which pedal was right and which was left and how to tighten them (you need a hex wrench; it's not included). From start to finish, removing the old pedals installing these took less than 10 minutes and that included finding my tools.I took my first real ride with these today. I really like the wide platform. But even more, the metal pins provide fantastic grip. I usually ride in sneakers or, in the winter, in lightweight GoreTex hiking boots. The pins get right in between the tread on my shoes and provide great grip. The pedals also look cool (which isn't a requirement for me but definitely a bonus). I don't look forward to whacking my shin on these but I'm sure that'll happen eventually. So why just 4 stars? I could be wrong (since I'm not a gear-head and this is only the 2nd pair of pedals I've ever traded out for OEM) but these seem pricey. Also, as another reviewer pointed out, they don't spin very freely. They certainly rotate and didn't interfere with the ride but I'm used to pedals having more spin. If those aren't legit issues, I apologize. YMMV

Durable. I couldn't break them!
I've been riding clipped in on my mountain bike for 15+ years and decided it was time to try flat pedals again. I won't get into the pros and cons, but one of the primary differences I became all to aware of is the lack of pedal clearance on flat pedals vs. my small clipless spd pedals. These pedals are very slim, and should minimize pedal strikes, so I'm definitely glad I got these. I had one severe strike on a large rock protruding from the ground, but I only have myself to blame, not the pedals. As I was at speed in a turn, the strike put both me and the bike airborne, then promptly on the ground. As these pedals are very thin, I was curious how sturdy they would be. The hit was severe, and the pedals came through entirely intact. Once I got back home, and cleaned them, I only had some very minor scratching. I wish I could say the same for myself! These are pricey, but if you look at other similar name brand pedals, these are a good value. They're all aluminum, lightweight, durable, and have a thin profile. It comes with a special wrench if you wish to remove or replace the metal pins. The pedal bearings are also replaceable if were ever to wear them out or have issues.

The nicest pedals I've used.
These pedals are the nicest I've ever personally owned. The thin profile effectively puts you a little lower on the bike which improves the cornering of the bike. The pins give good grip and the body has a nice wide shape. The bearings and axles feel very high quality and the body of the pedal looks super well made. I'm very happy with these and I'm excited to use these for years to come especially since they have a rebuild kit available for them!

Large platform MTB
Quality construction and unique pins. Rather than bolt/pin style on most other pedals, these have a grip acorn nut that provides the grip surface. Maybe a bit softer on the shins but provides good grip on the few rides I have done on them so far. bearing appear quality and the weight is comparable to the other big brands. Would I pay the same or more for these than others, don't think so, but are a solid pedal option.

High Quality, Excellent Design, Full Metal
The media could not be loaded. I've been having a hard time finding a pedal I like for my current mountain bike. I've been cycling (no pun intended) through a couple different sets but most of them have been the hard plastic nylon type. Although they have been good, Something about the feel of these has won me over. The actual profile is a little bit slimmer than some others I've used (see images for reference) which I think is good for me. The actual platform feels good underfoot and sticks really well to my foot (I wear five ten freeride shoes, size 10.5) and I like the amount of pins. Side note, the little pin wrench is adorable). They stick well and anecdotally, I seem to have a few less pedal strikes on my normal routes. Time will tell if that is just luck or something with the actual design and shape of these vs some others. They don't weigh a whole lot more than my other sets, definitely not enough of a difference for me to notice. I tend to really beat the crap out of my pedals and the nylon ones end up looking pretty rough after a couple of rides. I like that these are entirely metal. Makes me a feel al little more confident that I won't snap half of one off of the spindle while riding.Long story short, I think these are great. I love the styling and the overall shape of them. I think they are priced reasonably well for a pedal of this quality and I intend to keep riding with these primarily. They grip well, spin well and just feel better than my others. Very pleased and highly recommended as is normally my feelings about most FUNN gear.
