Admittedly, calling this a "professional" kit is a bit of a stretch. That's not to say there's anything wrong with the materials, but professionals are going to work with more and more advanced materials and techniques than those included here (including, for instance, airbrushes and foam latex prosthetic appliances). However, this is a great introductory kit for a beginner just getting started with special effects makeup.The quality of the materials is quite good, and it's all reasonably easy to use. As you can see in the photos, even as a complete amateur, I think I was able to achieve good results using this kit. The only effect I added that wasn't included in the kit was that I blackened my mouth using a black substance made by mixing all the colors of food coloring into a cup of mouthwash.The makeup included provides a good selection of colors perfect for zombies or for other wounds. It's a good quality material and supplied in sufficient quantity to make several zombies. It also comes with liquid latex in a color that closely matches the "zombie flesh" color of makeup, which is quite helpful, and also supplied in sufficient quantities for several zombies.The fake blood included has a great color and is a non-toxic mixture. It's a little on the thick side for my taste, but I certainly had no problem using it in small quantities to create little blood drips from wounds, and particularly to add some color to the lips.The only included material I didn't particularly like was the "extra flesh" wax material. I found it just too soft to be very useful (and fairly messy to boot). That's not to say you can't make it work (particularly in small quantities), but I'd personally opt for different materials.Overall, I'm quite happy with this purchase. For someone like me--a beginning hobbyist in the special effects makeup world, but one with high standards--it was the perfect set to complete one of my projects.

great range of products and super easy to use with step by step instructions. really only used the green color, liquid latex, and blood. also used some red for veins and bruising. i had never done a look that was so heavy on the special effects so i'm super happy with how it turned out and now know how i can improve if i ever do a similar look again.

Affordable kit, and certainly passable, but getting a variety of tones, or anything other than gray, is very, very hard or would require extra makeup. The included fake blood bottle helps with this, creating a splash of red that keeps a wet look for quite a while.It took a long time to get off, but I mostly blame that on me not planning ahead and getting makeup remover.This is ideal for someone that wants quick, cheap zombie makeup but that is not planning on winning any costume contests. In other words, George Romero wannabes go elsewhere, but otherwise it is good.

Great makeup: but, I dislike the haunted clown on the box. I teach clown school and we need to be able to choose which box that we would like. I need the boxes with the 3 clowns on the front for school, not the haunted clown !!!!

Only one cap comes in here and rips incredibly easily. The makeup that comes is good and could easily be re-used. They should include extra caps. If you mess up and rip the thin cap one time then you’re boned.

I loved the color and was easy to apply, the instructions were easy to follow and I really enjoyed the outcome! Washing it off was a breeze and I'd recommend this to anyone wanting to witch it up! I received lots of compliments and would use this product again. I did not use the tooth coloring, and only down side I encountered was the powder to hold it in place smeared the black lines so I went without it and used a finishing spray. However, that didn't deter me from looking scary!

Terrible Quality – Do Not Waste Your MoneyI bought this bald cap hoping to use it for a costume, and it was a complete disappointment. The material was thin, tore while I was trying to stretch it on, and it didn’t come close to fitting properly. Even after carefully applying spirit gum and makeup, the edges were so obvious you could see them from across the room. Instead of looking realistic, it looked like I had a wrinkled shower cap on my head. SAVE YOUR MONEY BUY ELSEWHERE

Okay so first things first. I’m no makeup artist. I needed a bald cap for my bach. Make sure you purchase a hair net! This was my first time & thank gosh I bought 2! I have a lot of hair & needed some help but it lasted all night. Everybody laughed. It was perfect.Tips for people that take it more seriously.. do a practice run. Get your hair nets. Take your timing putting it on, smoothing it out & removing excess. Final thought, it was hot & I was sweating so the next curled off. Maybe bring your glue with you so you can reapply as needed. Have fun!
