Mine is not lab created but we were unhappy with our piece because it was 4 tiny rocks and not a slab. I told the seller that they advertise a slab not individual pieces , false advertising, he wrote me back and apologized and looked at his sight and agreed with me, he did not offer to send a better one. We never oil ours, I'm curious did you get one large like advertised? We received 4 very small ones. I complained to the seller and said he needs to change his picture if he was not going to send one large. No need to oil .
